I’m not really crazy about the 5 star rating system. I prefer the “would you recommend” Home Depot-style rating. I feel that says more. Yes, I would recommend this restaurant. Food was tasty. Lunch servings were beyond generous. I can’t eat as much food as I was served. My girlfriend was very happy with her huge bowl of vegetarian soup on a cold day. We both had leftovers to take home. The service was speedy as well.

Normally, I’m never want to give a bad review, but I’m very disappointed in this. I ordered the general TSO chicken and he was like fighting into yarn. It was extremely cheap chewy and was not good. The inside of the place is very dirty feels very unprofessional and it’s genuinely depressing. It looked dirty and not up to standard. The only reason I’m giving the place a two star is because they’re online ordering and service. The call is very simple and easy, but I was not happy with what I got.

Update 10/13/21 It’s been over a year since I’ve had a Decent Hot and Sour Soup, the first time I tried Fortune House Hot and Sour I didn’t like it at all. That was appropriately 11 months ago, yes I should have gave it another chance by now but haven’t until today when I got a small bowl and two shrimp egg rolls (All Their Egg rolls Are FANTASTIC) Well this evening I must Apologize to Fortune House and the Lovely Lady who normally takes my order and prepares much of the food, She Works so Hard for All of Us. The Hot and Sour Soup was Delicious!!! Thank You Fortune House, I thought I’d Never Again Know how Wonderful a Good bowl of Hot and Sour Soup was Again in my lifetime!!!……..I’ve stopped here so many times now, I’ve got my friends going now also.. This is Truly the Best Chinese Food in Hamilton County!!! Stars… When You Find Yourself Wanting, Desiring, Thinking about…. It’s Freaking That Good!!! Try This PLACE, The EGG ROLLS Alone Are Worth It but Try the Many Soup’s and Dishes as well.. Everything Fresh Made and Cooked upon Order… It’s Has Become My Number 1 ( ) Place to EAT.. Small town Chinese food with big taste. This place never lets you down on price or quality. I REALLY wish they’d bring back the buffet. If frequent this place more often if so. However even the take out is great. Honey chicken, sesame chicken, sweet n sour, teriyaki, lo mein, it’s all great.

I can tell they work hard to prepare the food and take pride in their work. Tipping seemed optional, since Dining in was simple and easy to clean up. (They had a tip jar.) I think most of their business is take out, but I liked the option of having a place to eat. I’ll definitely go back

Birthday dinner ruined The only thing I wanted out of the meal was not heard. I tried to check my meal and was told everything was there. Had I been able to check? I would’ve saw that they left off my ribs. It’s a good place but it’s just a really disappointing experience.
