I went with a few friends on a Saturday evening and was looking forward to trying this place, but the experience fell short. The queso was watery, and I ordered the enchilada sampler, which included a chicken enchilada with mole oaxaqueño, a cheese enchilada with mole rojo, and a spinach enchilada with calabacita, served with beans and rice. Unfortunately, the food lacked flavor.

The drinks were good, though they sat at the bar for a bit before being brought to us. The restaurant is small, and the high-top table we were seated at felt too tight for three people.

The drinks were the highlight of the visit, but both my friends and I shared the same opinion that the entrées were underwhelming. The décor was nice, but overall, I wouldn’t return. I do wish the business the best.

We had lunch on their covered enclosed patio on a beautiful mid-November afternoon. Everyone at the table enjoyed their food. Everyone had a different cocktail, mine was the hit – a churro shot with Rumchata and a cinnamon sugar rim. My pesole soup was delicious.
The holiday decorations were so festive and fun both inside and on the patio too!
Parking ️ tip: if you park in the lots behind the restaurant- which requires paying- don’t pay instead, go into the restaurant to ask for complementary parking [you’ll need your tag number].

Holé Molé in Tulsa is a standout gem for Mexican cuisine.
The food ranks among the best I’ve had anywhere in Oklahoma—fresh, flavorful, and clearly crafted with care. The restaurant itself is spotless, with a warm, welcoming atmosphere that suits solo diners just as well as families.

One of the highlights is their outdoor balcony-style seating, which adds a relaxed charm to the experience. The bartender was not only friendly and respectful, but I noticed he had his own family dining there that day. That speaks volumes. When employees choose to eat where they work—and bring their loved ones—you know the place is doing something right. It’s a sign of quality, cleanliness, and pride in what they serve.

Holé Molé isn’t just a meal—it’s a place you feel good about supporting.

I came here during my visit to Tulsa as I was looking for a celiac safe option. Our server Mo was very helpful in guiding me through the menu! We ordered lots of food and loved everything that we tried. She even sent us home with some extra chips so that I could have another gluten free snack later. Thank you Mo!

Popped in for lunch on Taco Tuesday for a first visit.

WOW! I’ve waited too long to give this a try. This is food to savor. Each bite was a sensory journey.

Short rib taco was incredibly flavorful!

Chicken and Oaxacan Molé Taco was perfect!

I’m told their Oaxaca Molé Negro is an authenticate Aztec recipe. All I can say is that it was delicious and nuanced with a little fire.

I also tried a pork tamal. I liked the proportion of masa to filling. It was one of the best I’ve had in Tulsa.

Our dinner group picks a new locally owned restaurant every month. January was Hole Mole. We went Monday the 20th for dinner.

We ordered Mole Flight, Chicken Tamales, Chicken Enchiladas, Esqites and Birria Ramen.

The tamales, salsa and mole trio were delicious and did not disappoint. Logan was our server and absolutely enjoyed him!

Delicious food and amazing service! I got the savory waffle and my wife got the corn pancakes, both were amazing! Very flavorful and a pleasant surprise at the quality of the dishes! Brunch is back!

Our cocktails were the “Hibiscus Passionfruit Margarita” and the “One Night in Zapopan” very delicious!

Shout out to our server Bryan for being so awesome!

We ate at Hole Mole tonight for dinner. It was very good. I got the combination platter and my wife got hole’ mole chicken platter. She said hers was very good. I liked mine. Parking in the area can be a challenge. I backed into a spot on 15th St. I recommend going and giving it a try especially if you like mole’ sauce.
