Dude… What an amazing place. I flew out here to catch the Rysk concert nextdoor, but the crazy amazing smells wafting over from Rockstar BBQ had my stomach in its clutches. I walked in and was greeted by everyone and met Stusquatch himself!! I ended up having a good laugh at all the catchy names for the foods! Basket Queso What a delicious meal my brat and brisket soup was!!! Will definitely be stopping by again anytime I visit from Michigan!!

The food is amazing! Uber had my driver all over the map and Stusquatch’s must have known and responded in the background because my food was still hot and fresh when it arrived. The rib quarter was so tender and juicy. The pork sliders were amazing. We are going to visit the location and try the fried green tomatoes. This will be our new BBQ spot. Really good food.

We had the three meat platter with pork belly, ribs, and brisket. The brisket was easily our favorite — incredibly tender and full of flavor. We also had a side of coleslaw and mac and cheese, both solid additions to the meal. The atmosphere was great, with plenty of outdoor seating and a solid bar. We even met Stu, who told us about how they smoke the meats. Definitely recommend stopping by, especially after a long day on the road!

Brunch! They make biscuits to order (so expect a 20 min wait or so) and the gravy is real homemade gravy, not from a packet. The eggs were delicious and the brisket was also great. But the biscuit and gravy are what did it for me. Well worth the wait and amazing service!

I had heard of this place and finally took the opportunity to go and try it out. I brought along several co-workers and we all ordered a variety of items from the menu. I had a very positive experience, the food was great, the service takes a little while because they are preparing your food not reheating it or taking it out from under a heat lamp or microwave. The result was fantastic food, neat location, and everyone enjoyed the experience and food. We will all be planning to make several return trips. Thanks Stu!!!

The brisket is the best I’ve had in springfield. Owner is super nice and so are the workers. Check this place out if you haven’t! Wish I would’ve discovered this place years ago! We also got happy hour $1 wings. Would’ve taken a picture of the brisket but the plate didn’t last a minute, it was that good!

Where’s the 25 stars button? Today we spent our anniversary lunch here and were treated like royalty—well, rockstars! We had the candied pork belly, the burnt ends, the brisket and the pulled pork with sides of beans and potato salad. When I say that these baked beans were the best barbecue beans I have ever had in all 50 states, I am not kidding! We have done Kansas City barbecue, Nashville, Kentucky, Texas and Memphis and this place is up there with the heavy hitters. The flavors are a perfect blend that is a Christmas party in your mouth!!! And the deserts? Upside down pineapple cake and a chocolate brownie on steroids. Both were fantastic.

Food was amazing – brisket was melt-in-your-mouth and the smoked queso was some of the best I’ve had. Unfortunately, there was only 1 person working on a Saturday afternoon so food took forever to get. It was only 2pm but they were already out of several sides. Will go back.
