I have been waiting for pupusas that remind me of the ones made by the local tias of Los Angeles. These were it! We went on a Saturday evening, and when we walked in I was a little concerned. The place seemed empty and I was wondering if we had made a good choice. Within 5 minutes there was a long line and the entire dining room filled up! The pupusas took a little bit longer than other food (burrito/burrito bowl) but while I was waiting, I was serenaded with the sounds of handmade pupusas being lovingly flattened. They were delicious!! I came with friends that had never experienced pupusas before, and they were so pleased!! I will certainly be returning.

Had a great lunch here with my friends. Food quality was amazing and so delicious. Staff was super friendly. The place was very clean and welcoming. Waited a bit for the food, but totally worth it. You can tell it is made with care and love.

Came on a Saturday evening. Ordered Sopes, nachos, flautas, and the bistec plate. All the food was delicious and reminded me of my mom’s cooking. Asada was my favorite. Food came out fresh and fast

I followed this place on instagram awhile now and finally decided to stop in and get a plate. Prices are fair, pupusa are loaded with food and flavor. Place is very clean, staff was friendly. Definitely will be back if the area again. Street parking only can be difficult.

This is our favorite place to go on Sundays with the family! Delicious food, reasonable prices! Incredible atmosphere with the background music and the staff is super friendly!!! And don’t forget to order the Salvadorian horchata—it’s the best!

Las pupusas revueltas are spot on—perfect with the curtido and salsa. But the rest of the Salvadoran menu feels a bit lost in translation (that horchata definitely wasn’t the real deal).

This place is such a hidden gem. It may not look like much, but the food here is phenomenally tasty. We had fast, courteous service, the place was clean and well kept, the music was loud enough to be heard but not so loud that you can’t hear the person next to you. Highly recommend eating here and trying it for yourself. The grilled chicken quesadilla is delicious!

Lovely people, excellent food, very nice space. This is some of my favorite Mexican food in Portland. I think they make the best taquitos in the PacNW! We’ve been here twice and both times we’ve enjoyed everything about the experience!

My family and I went to Bichos for dinner and the food was really great! The service was amazing! The woman who took our order was a fantastic multitasker, super friendly and kind, and very efficient! She was taking orders, managing the grill, running food, all with a cool and collected manner. I got the Al Pastor Super Burrito and it was good! The rice had a very great texture, it was flavorful, the Al Pastor was a little too saucy for my preference but the flavors were good. I was happy to see a vegetarian option (Happy Burrito) since my fiancé loves vegetables and would prefer them over meat. They really enjoyed it! The Mexican Horchata was very delicious and refreshing without being overly sweet. The Salvador Horchata was also really good! I was unsure of what it would be or taste like but it was very refreshing, perfect amount of sweetness, a little nutty, and reminded me of Abuelitas Chocolate (I’m unsure if that’s what it’s supposed to be). All of the servings were huge! We were a party of seven dining inside and it felt just a little cramped but it was still a nice time.
