This is a legit gas station taqueria. Not the best, but for gas station standards, it’s up there. We ordered 2 fish tacos for $5 each, and a super shrimp burrito $16.50. The fish tacos were good, lots of fish. The super shrimp burrito was ok, shrimp was good but cheese wasn’t totally melted and it was rice heavy even though I asked for less rice. Portions were reasonable for the price. The thing that won me over was the fantastic salsa bar. The salsas were flavorful and there was fresh pico and pickled jalapeños, carrots, onions. They have a decent amount of both indoor and outdoor seating. Cash only but they also take Venmo. Atm machine inside

This hidden gem is cash only and you cannot go wrong!
Everything I’ve had here is phenomenal and great value. My best friend ALWAYS gets the fish tacos, I mix it up every time and I’ve never had a bad meal. This time I got a combination taco plate- carnitas and chicken for under $15.
Sometimes I have to ask for chips to go with my meal and the salsa bar is an 11/10.
They have a few tables inside and also tables outside.

An unassuming taco place in a gas station, yet the food is flavorful and reasonably priced. I got fish taco and carnitas taco. Both are delicious but carnitas is a winner here. I like the outdoor seating with the colorful paper decorations. If you are hungry when you are in town, this is a place you can snack or even have a proper meal.

An everything restaurant in Pescadero that serves really exceptional Mexican food. Prices are fair but the quality of the food is incredible. We ordered a jumbo Al pastor burrito and split it in half, we both thought it was among the best tasting Mexican food in the local area. There’s a large salsa bar and a great outdoor seating area with water, napkins and utensils station. The jumbo burrito cost $14.99 but it is CASH only!!! We highly recommen this place!!!

I ordered the chile verde lunch, and it was acceptable in terms of taste and quality of pork (only two pieces were too fatty to eat). “Acceptable”, but not something that I’m craving to have again! Best hidden gem in Pescadero. Skip the other places and visit the gas station instead for hearty Mexican food. We got steak fajitas, California burrito, and birria plate, all of them were delicious and satisfying. Fresh salsa bar was awesome; habanero salsa really hit the spot with a nice kick.

While pescadero doesn’t have many options this is a good casual budget option. I’ve found the food good, the service fast and the outside seating very nice. The chip bar has the usual Mexican sauces but the habanero sauce is as spicy as I have had. The fish tacos are good and usually what I get.

Such a gem! It’s located inside gas station store. They have all drinks, basic grocery as well.
We went to pigeon point light house for sunset and while coming back we stopped here for dinner. It’s authentic Mexican place. They have self serve salsa. They have vegetarian options which I always like to see. They do have inside seating as well as really cute romantic place behind for outdoor seating.
Must try if you are around the area. Also the town is pretty cool too.
