I’m not big into sweets or sugary drinks so for me it was a perfect spot. Got the matcha cream jasmine tea, matcha flavor was mild and I wish it was stronger but the jasmine flavor was spot on. It tasted refreshing and not fake with sugar.
Can’t wait to try more!
Not many tea shops have it, so far I’ve only found 2 places that taste good and this is one of the two.
It’s a bit pricey because they use fresh durian fruit. Just wished they had a bigger option.
Not for the faint hearted as the smell is pungent.
Drinks I Love:
• Peach – Fresh, fruity, and refreshing.
• ❤️ Dragon Fruit – Light, smooth, and not heavy at all.
I always go with less sugar, which I highly recommend.
This Time I Tried:
• Avocado + Peach – Very refreshing, beautiful pink color, and full of energy vibes. Didn’t expect peach to pair so well with avocado, but it really works!
• Guava Flavor – Even with less sugar, it was still too sweet for my taste. Probably won’t order this one again.
Overall Thoughts:
The drinks are creative and still taste good, but the prices feel a bit high for the value . Also feels like the hype isn’t as strong as before.
The Matcha Cream Jasmine Milk Tea was not bad. They didn’t allow editing ice or sugar levels so it was on the sweeter side. However, the jasmine tea taste is still strong but hard to taste the matcha. But the tea does taste authentic. It is still a decent drink though. Their cup design is so pretty though. I also like how they have 4 Liter cup size options for some drinks which is so cool. Will be coming back.
After arriving in LA, we were excited to try this milk tea shop, but the experience turned out to be extremely frustrating, mainly due to the staff’s attitude and poor communication.
We placed an online order that required payment in-store. Around 9:30 PM, we arrived and confirmed the order with a staff member. The staff checked the system and told us the drinks had not been made yet and would take 20–30 minutes. We clearly confirmed multiple times that we could pay when we came back to pick up the drinks, and that we would receive a text message notification when they were ready. Based on this confirmation, we went to walk around nearby.
By around 9:58 PM, we still hadn’t received any notification and were worried the store might close, so we went back to check. At that point, we were told the drinks had not been made because payment hadn’t been completed, which was very frustrating since we were explicitly told earlier that payment could be made upon pickup.
We decided to proceed anyway and offered to pay immediately. We tried to pay with cash, but the staff (likely new) didn’t know how to process it, so we switched to credit card, even though there was an extra 3.5% fee. Despite this, the order still could not be processed.
The staff then called the manager or a senior employee, who said over the phone that orders are not accepted after 10 PM and the drinks could not be made. The tone on the phone was extremely rude and dismissive. This was unacceptable, especially since we had already been in the store at 9:30 PM and confirmed the order in advance.
While the new staff member kept apologizing, the overall experience was very unprofessional, with poor internal communication and an extremely bad attitude from the manager/senior staff. This was honestly one of the worst service experiences we’ve had.
Very disappointed. Would not recommend.
Probably wouldn’t return unless I were really in the mood for their durian shake.
