Food is not bad, but salty. Some of the sauces for the seafood boils taste the same. But the food comes out piping hot, so be ready to get your hands dirty!

Had an amazing experience eating at Crab Mentality. The food was so good, had the garlic butter and Cajun sauce with spice. Service was quick and was provided with all things we needed to keep clean. Haven’t been to the boiling crab yet but it’s so nice to have a good seafood boil close to home without having to drive in the valley! Highly recommend!

This place is the worst. Order dine in and employees were rude and didn’t knew what was going on in their end. We switch cashiers twice not knowing what to do. It seemed they were all angry and annoyed of each other. Food took forever to come out and when we received it it was nasty not edible at all. Order myself a basket of shrimp with fries. If you guys need cooking oil to take home come here and get it for free. See imaged. Husband got a basket of shimrp that was okay kinda meh. Will definitely never come back to this place.

People are funny with their reviews and obviously don’t know enough about this type of eatery. 1st you eat with your hands and it’s messy 2nd the place is small…you order your food, it comes and you eat…poor service, please. There are places that do it better, but not in Santa Clarita.

So I been coming here for about 4 years. The very last time I went in 2024 it was nasty! Food did not have any flavor. I noticed new workers that I had never seen before. It was always Asian people working back there, but this last time it was different people. The food had no flavor and I demanded a refund. They said they could pay me back 50% of what I paid or give me credit for next time. It’s a ways from my house so I couldn’t drive back over there and am now afraid if it’s even going to be worth getting another order from them. This place used to be so good. They need to rehire the previous workers. Food was too oily with no flavor

Poor customer service and they do not devein the shrimp. That may not be an issue to some people but i prefer to not eat shrimp that aren’t properly cleaned.
