This is a pizza chain, but new to the area. The garlic rolls were highly recommended so we had to give them a try. They come in a bowl with melted garlic butter at the bottom that you can sop up with the roll and with shaved parmesan on top and a small dish of marinara sauce in between all the rolls. Very tasty and definitely worth a try. I ordered the bronx salad, which comes with grilled chicken and gorgonzola cheese. It is very large and on my second visit I actually split it with another person, and we were both still satisfied. If you’re not a fan of gorgonzola, you can swap it out for feta or mozzarella. We tried the pizza and overall it’s better than most of the other local joints but it’s not New Haven pizza. It was good enough that we returned and tried a calzone. The calzone crust is a little too crusty and raised up, so you have to punch it down, and the calzone is on the smaller side. Overall the calzone taste was average. The pizza was probably a 7 out of 10, and the salad was definitely an 8. I will go back. Service was pretty good, but at busy times you definitely have to flag them down to place your order or get your bill. Family oriented joint.

I’ve never had a pizza experience like this before. The crust and dough of their menu is an absolute delicious experience for all pizza lovers. The cheese OMG!!! FROM Wisconsin the dough all natural ingredients. Top notch for a pizza joint for sure. Bronx style iron/ steel and brick design brings a nostalgic feel of New York making the taste and experience. Absolutely enjoyed the pizza and the employees.

Great knots, like out of this world… Garlic, butter, toasted, marinara, and fresh parm! The pizza was great as well, it unfortunately took almost an hour to get the pizza. There were others that got their pizza well before us that were seated 15 minutes after us. Not sure if the staff forgot to put our pizza in then the server brought us the wrong check. I know it was the grand opening and seems like they were ironing out the kinks.

Boyfriend and I went for dinner on a Saturday night. A bit chaotic waiting for a table to open up, but the servers were quick and kind. Garlic knots were yummy, but maybe a tad crunchy just for how I prefer them. We got two small New York style pizzas – Big Al and Beast of Burden – both were delicious. Will definitely be back!

The pizza was actually pretty good — nice crunch, good sauce and cheese — but the customer service was disappointing. I tried to order by the slice and was told I had to sit down and wait for a waitress, even though I just wanted a quick bite. When I ordered slices to go and started eating outside, a staff member told me I couldn’t eat out of the box there. Kinda strange for a pizza place. Prices are high too, so overall not the best experience.

Finally a really tasty pizza joint on Hodges & Beach. The sauce was very tasty. Tangy, zesty and not sweet. Dough was fresh and airy. A little too cheesy for me since I’m trying to cut down on cheese (personal pref).
The portions were huge so easily shareable. If you’re in the area you must visit this place.
