I searched up Sushi when I was driving through Orange and this popped up. The restaurant is small but cozy. There are only about 5 tables of 2. There were 2 workers, the chef and front of the house, the FOH was ver nice. We arrived on a Saturday around 1, we were sat right away. There was 1 other patron eating. There were phone orders while were there and a group of 3 came in. The poor FOH was very busy, she was literally running around to keep up. We waited about 10 min for our food. We ordered shrimp Tempura, California roll, BSCR, and rainbow roll. The Tempura shrimp was fried perfectly. Our rolls were fresh and delicious. We will definitely be back.

KAI Sushi is an amazing restaurant. We love going to family owned businesses and supporting them. We were in Orange County and wanted sushi and found KAI. We live an hour away and will definitely be going back. The place is very clean and looks like they just opened yesterday after 16 years in business. My son even made a little friend with the owner’s granddaughter while we were eating. Thank you for the amazing food and great service. We look forward to our next visit!

Food is delicious, environment is clean, service is friendly, and menu is priced very good. I will definitely return to try more of their menu. Ordered pick up and the presentation is clean and well portioned. In my photo is a Albacore roll (too much albacore skin for me) adding crunch and a specialty crunch roll, as well as the garlic edamame. Thank you Kai Sushi and Roll!

This little hole in the wall was amazing. The atmosphere to the service. Got my popcorn shrimp roll and my teriyaki lunch combo. It was delicious. Defiently coming back. The service was nice. Little family owned restaurant to ensure their guest are taking care of. First time coming here I was like okay I see you. Defiently going toi come back and try everythin else on the menu. Just wish the water cups were bigger other then that can’t complain. So peaceful and relaxing to eat here*)

Been stopping in here for years.. Never disappointing!
Worth the stop.. Prices are in the middle for sushi.. Make sure that you are not in a hurry when you come food takes awhile to come out.. But definitely worth the wait.

I was extremely disappointed with the service during my recent visit. I’ve been a regular customer, but this experience made me feel like I didn’t belong in the restaurant. I began placing my order, but the waitress—who I believe is also the owner—walked away in the middle of it without explanation, which I found strange and disrespectful.
When she returned, she simply brought water and never once asked if I wanted wasabi, anything to drink, or any extras. Her attitude felt cold, dismissive, and standoffish, despite the fact that I was polite and pleasant throughout the interaction. It truly felt like she didn’t want me there.
This level of service was not only disappointing but made me question whether I’ll return. As a loyal customer, I expect to be treated with basic respect.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Honestly the food was decent but the lady was so rude and hostile that I will not be returning. I paid 15 bucks for a small bowl and she refused to give me a packet of Sriracha sauce . She kept saying “ no you pay for it”. Her customer service is crappy.
