This is a very cool restaurant. They have fish tanks in the center with one big one and all of them are crystal clear with healthy fish. Our waiter was friendly and served our food hot and correct as well as keep our cups full. This was our first time eating there. The hostess was friendly. The bathrooms were clean and stocked. My only complaint is the floors were sticky. No fishy smell and the food was delicious. We ordered scallops, shrimp, chicken and flounder. The fish was cooked perfectly. I got scallops and they were very good. Next time we go I will ask for easy sauce as I thought it was a little salty for my tastebuds. We will definitely visit again.

Where to begin? The restaurant is located in a great spot with plenty of parking. Wheelchair accessible is available. The restaurant was super clean and had a great ambiance – i especially loved the model of the Mayflower ship – the namesake for the restaurant.
We were warmly welcomed by Katie the hostess and seated right away. I was impressed with Katie’s polite demeanor and friendly smile. (Management: she needs a raise for the support of your establishment and the care of the customers). Our waitress (Cooper i think) was also pleasant and attentive. My Mom felt the food took too long , but preparing the five meals we had was gonna take some time so as a group we were patient.
Food: Okay here goes! Super delicious and portion size – out of this world. I’ll be honest. My sister sent me a pic last week of her plate and I didn’t believe it. I thought she added two or three plates together as a joke! But no. A regular size is enough with leftovers but a large is unbelievably huge! Several of us had plenty to take home. I’m having mine for dinner tonight.
The restroom was clean and modern and wheelchair friendly. Checkout was a snap. We had the option to pay the waitress or pay by scanning a QR code. I might be a 65 year old but I love technology, so I did that and it was a breeze.
So what left to say? I am impressed. I have been in Mayflower in a different city so many years ago and never went back because I did not find value. This store definitely offers value- huge portions for the price! I will eat there again for sure!

Not the Mayflower I used to know. Food order was forgotten by first server and second server had to retakke our order- she was helpful and upfront. Thus our food took longer than usual. The whitefish on my order was hard, cold and tough as leather; the flounder was a bit undercooked on half; and the crabcakes…we’ll, it sucked! Very dry and mostly box bread mix- hardly any “crabmeat” inside. I did notify the manager. I’m assuming the manager corrected the second served whitefish, but by then we we’re ready to get out. Baked potato seemed to be the only positive edible item on my plate. Will not return to this specific restaurant. Should’ve gone to Cape Fear. Just my review.

The food was room temperature, slimy and had absolutely no flavor. Like not even a little bit of salt. Just bland. The hush puppies were the only thing that was edible. I paid and left all that nasty food at the table. Went home with my stomach uneasy. Would neverrr eat here again.

I love the seafood platter that I’ve ordered except for the deviled crab. I think it’s too garlicky for my taste. Customer service is nice however it took a little bit of time to get our food served. I saw folks get served first when we arrived/sat to our seats before them. Still, I think it’s a nice place to dine in with kids. Love the aquarium ☺️

Good Afternoon, I just left this restaurant around 3:30PM. There was a Caucasian lady working front counter who seated everyone who came in. Upon my departure our waiter was in the kitchen and so I asked the lady if I could please have a to-go cup. Before I could even finish my sentence she snapped her fingers with a nasty attitude telling me that was not her job, speak to my waiter. I waited until someone else came to help me and respectfully left. The Lord will deal with her.. You shall reap what you sew!

We are new to Greenville North Carolina. we just moved here last November. this was our first visit to the Mayflower seafood restaurant. I grew up on good seafood in South Carolina. This is a definite oldie but goodie restaurant. The seafood is fresh, with a calabash style. The service was awesome. for this quality of food I was surprised at such the reasonable prices. even with the restaurant having a full bar liquor license. The bar didn’t seem to be in operation. There was a Very nice family feel. The restaurant even had 60s and 70s music playing, and not very loud so you could still be able to hear each other talk at your table. i’m hoping to Mayflower seafood restaurant Will be in business for many years to come. We will certainly be frequent customers.

Mya was our waitress. Perfect customer service. She introduced us to things they offer we didn’t know. You can get salt and pepper fried, or Cajun fried. Love her!
