There’s a reason this location survives. Everything you remember from your childhood at Frisch’s is here. Delicious food. Made the right way how you remember it. I guarantee it’s not as expensive as you’re expecting. Impeccable service with kind, warm smiles. This restaurant appears to run like a well oiled machine. Be sure to hit up the salad bar!

My wife’s onion rings taste like fish and that is not supposed to be fried in the same grease. They are supposed to have their own grease pit for French fries and Onion rings only. That way if someone is allergic to fish products like me, wouldn’t end up in the hospital. If you read in this photo that if I would have ate them Onion rings that my wife said they taste like fish. I would have been admitted into the Hospital for Allergic to Fish and it’s on MyChart TriHealth medical records that I can’t eat any Fish.

I haven’t seen a Big Boy in 30 years and I don’t know what happened to Bob? In the recent snow storm this was one of the few places with a plowed drive thru so we figured it was as good a place as any to grab a coke and fries for the road. The fries tasted floury, not in a good way but were hot and salty. The coke was good enough and thankfully not Pepsi. We got a burger on a whim just to see if we’re missing out. And the burger was Greasy, capital G! Not to mention the absolute sploodge of mayo on the outside of the burger. Why the outside? My hubby compared it to fine dining when they anchor a dish to the plate with some emulsion. That burger was suctioned to that styrofoam container for sure! The first bite wasn’t awful but we sounded like those old Muppets who critique the theater and progressively downgrade everything. By the time we finished it the rating had dropped quite low.
They were, however, the most friendly, competent, efficient drive thru personnel we’ve seen in 30 years as well.
Its fast food, you get what you get and don’t throw a fit.

Second time coming here since all the Frisch’s started closing. If all of the Big Boy’s ran their operation like this one, they’d have never closed. They had a good crowd for a weeknight, but we were seated and taken care of immediately. Salad bar was fully stocked despite the crowd, and my Big Boy came out looking like the one in the picture on the menu. Food was great service was great, this is what a Big Boy restaurant should be. Highly recommend!

The Bigboy’s ….its hit or miss in only 1 aspect and that’s the amount of tartar sauce on it… So Extra tartar is a must to customize your burger and dip onion rings or fries in it…

To whom it may concern at the Frisch’s Eastgate Ohio. I just want to say that your day shift is one of the hardest working, team driven group of people that I have had wait on me since coming to Eastgate Frisch’s. The servers from Olivia, Christina, Adrinana, Stephani, Missy, and Tami ALL do outstanding work and have waited on me from one time or another! They work very well togather and are a great credit too themselves and the company! Being a Marine I see the pride they all take in their work and dedicated service to the customer! Once again thanks for their service!

Had dinner at Frischs and Eastgate this evening. Heather grilled chicken that was fantastic and got to try their coleslaw which was amazing. I would recommend going there no matter what your main dish is get the coleslaw. It’s out of this world.

We had the best experience this morning at our Eastgate Frischs. Truly, service with a smile. Delicious hot coffee and as much as we wanted. Everything on the breakfast bar was hot and fresh. We ordered a hot fresh Big Boy and it was delicious. Olivia our server is a real pro and she doesn’t forget to check on you. As each customer walked in the staff knew them and greeted them. A really nice experience. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
