feel that the quality and variety of food is not very good here!
When they notice that there is a few of heavy eaters they don’t fill up the trays so they don’t eat so much (raw oysters)
The sushi is mainly only salmon and imitation crab
This pictures were taken at 9 pm on a Thursday!
But they really don’t pay attention to refill at the food bar!
Compared to other buffets I feel this place is not good.
Is the second time I come
Outside is dirty and the first time it was a bunch of homeless people just sitting outside. The sign not even have light
The hibachi grill also don’t look very fresh either

The food was great. The price was just as good for us. Two retired people – $15. For each of us. They are very friendly. Plus, the waitress will not let. Your glass go empty. I give this place ☆☆☆☆☆. Our new favorite place to eat.

I didn’t enjoy my time here. There’s nothing that really stands out about this place. It’s themed, but at the same time it feels low quality due to the imperfections and supplies out in the open. The service did their job well, but they weren’t friendly. A smile would’ve helped a lot.

The food here is pretty typical for a Chinese takeout restaurant. I’d say the spicy shrimp is the best thing here, since everything else was mediocre. Overall, don’t recommend.

Paid $60 only got back $1. It was $44 dollars in total. When I confronted the front staff she told me I gave her 2 $20 bills and 1 $5 bill I said no I have all 20s when she was extremely rude started raising her voice at me and raised the her voice to my wife as well. We told her to forget it because we didn’t want to escalate the situation. Please don’t come her if you want your money stolen. Never coming back again

First time in the area, I was craving for Chinese food and Siri suggested this place as an all you can eat Chinese food buffet. The sitting area is large although in need of some updating. There is plenty of food options, from vegetables in the salad bar to traditional Chinese food to seafood including lobster, sushi options and two islands dedicated to dessert. Quality and flavor were ok but not stellar. Price was fair $24.99 per person and comparable with other all you can eat places in Tampa. I believe you should try it and have your opinion as a been there than that type of thing but it is definitely not my favorite. I have to finish recognizing the service which is very decent.

One of the best buffets in Tampa Bay. Always delicious and fresh food with a varied menu. Large selection of food including soups, seafood, sushi, hibachi, fruits and desserts! Great place for lunch or dinner at a reasonable price. I like this place and will recommend it to anyone who likes Chinese food and who loves to eat deliciously!

They had onions in EVERY thing. I personally don’t like onions but I went with it. I found it to be quite pricey though. I paid $67 for an adult, 8yr. old, and a 11yr. old. Personally think the price wasn’t justified. Suggest you experience for yourself because the staff was nice but for me…..probably not.

City Buffet is a large restaurant that offers a decent spread of food. The quality of the dishes is good for a buffet, and the variety is quite satisfying. If you visit on nights or Sundays, you’ll get the best value for your money, as they feature an impressive selection of seafood, including crab and crawfish.
One of the highlights is their hibachi station, where you can select raw ingredients, and they cook it fresh for you. However, be prepared for a bit of a wait as the preparation time can be lengthy.
The table staff are generally okay but could improve in terms of refilling drinks and clearing plates more promptly. Despite these minor drawbacks, City Buffet is a great place to fill up on a variety of foods. While it may not be the best buffet out there, it’s definitely worth a visit, and I would go back again.

This is such a good buffet! They had all the classic Asian foods you love, a big variety of seafood (the shrimp was our favorite), sushi, and hibachi! Lots of space inside, decorated nice, and clean! Service was great too!

Not worth the plate I put it on.

I came in hoping to enjoy a casual meal, but left questioning every life choice that led me to this buffet.

First, the food: everything tasted like it had been sitting under a heat lamp since the Ming dynasty. The fried rice was suspiciously crunchy in places rice should never crunch, and the “General Tso’s Chicken” might have been more accurately named Colonel Disappointment’s Mystery Nuggets. The best part of the meal was the plain white rice in the rice cooker, and the glass of water I rinsed my taste buds with.

Second, the service: I’d describe it as invisible. Water refills? Dream on. Dirty plates? Might as well start a collection.

Third, the ambiance: a thrilling mix of sticky floors full of red jello, lukewarm lighting, and the background aroma of old oil and regret.

In summary: save your stomach, your money, and your dignity. There are better buffets within a five-mile radius — actually, there are better buffets in my nightmares.

Zero stars if I could. Go to the Little Caesars next door, you’re way better off.
