If I could give negative for service I would!
We sat down asked for a couple minutes to review the menu. She came back about 15 minutes later. They brought our 3 appetizer platter to us with no plates for us to eat on. I had to go to the bar to get them. We waited well over 15 minutes for our bill. The girl helping us seemed less than busy. Finally brought our bill and to go containers. The table kitty corner to us was empty the entire time we were there and needed bussed. The food was good, the service was absolutely awful.

We had an issue with our curbside pickup order when we made it home. The manager, Tabitha, made it right. We have visited this store frequently and the service is always very good to excellent at the Plainwell Applebee’s. It’s rare to have an issue. Kudos to the team; great job.

Came on a Tuesday for lunch, was not to busy. Waited a few minutes to be seated, which was ok. After getting our table we waited an additional 10 minutes for someone to come get our order in. (The hostess had to get the waitress for her to notice us) she apologized and we proceeded to order got our drinks. We ordered appetizer, after 15 minutes of not checking on us or no appetizer we left. And put few bucks on table for drinks. We were also placed next to a family of 8 having a party. There were other seats that they could have put us at but im not sure why there. Reason for the low stars. We will not be back unfortunately to this chain.

Went to this restaurant on 12 July with an elderly White couple and my friend who is Hispanic. He ordered the quesadilla burger and asked for it well done because he doesn’t like Rare or uncooked meat. Our meals finally arrived and everything looked good until he cut his burger in half and discovered the inside was extremely pink. He sent it back and it took forever to be remade. We were almost finished eating our meals when his second burger finally arrived but the second burger was even more rare then the first one was. Nothing was wrong with any of the items from the rest of our party just with our Hispanic guest’s meal. The Manager apologized and offered a free meal but my friend Not being able to eat with us was extremely disappointing and left him feeling like he wasn’t welcome there. We definitely won’t be eating here again.

Never a bad time at the Applebees here in Plainwell. Service is timely and always nice, I feel like I never have any trouble here. It’s a comfortable place to eat and meet up with friends. Shout out to Sofie as our server tonight. I genuinely enjoy coming here to dine.

We have came here many many times the last four yes I’m that naïve to give this place four chances! The straw that broke this camels back was my son not getting his food for 20 minutes after the entire table got theirs! The ringer on that it was his birthday! I’m at the point I hope they go out of business and open something entirely new in its place! What garbage of service I even felt bad for waiting staff and still tipped the waitresses each time 25.00$! When the service is bad it’s just bad I won’t back!

We had the BEST experience today. Our hosts Ava and Grace, I believe, were amazing hosts tonight. It was super packed and they kept us updated throughout the whole 30 minute wait. It did take us a while for the food but as the hosts stated, they were trying their best on this busy night. Our server Ashley was AMAZING and super attentive. Would definitely come here again!

We had a wonderful dinner out with our kiddos. Phoenix was our server. We were promptly brought drinks and refills all through our meal. I tried the new endless special on riblets it was well worth it and the refills kept coming. Great experience! Great atmosphere. Awesome server.

Ordered two steaks medium and they came super bloody. Wings were definitely not sauced enough. Got fries when I ordered mashed potatoes. However, the waitress seemed very experienced and was able to correct errors efficiently.

We had an extremely disappointing experience at Applebee’s. We ordered the 2-for-$25 along with an appetizer trio basket, and both our appetizers and our meals came out at basically the same time. The spinach dip and one of the appetizers were cold, like they had been sitting under the heat lamp far too long. When we mentioned this, the appetizers were comped — but after that, we never saw our server again.

Our server, who was also the bartender, took our drink order and food order but did not even bring our food to the table — the host dropped it off instead. My steak was ordered rare and came out medium well, which was extremely frustrating on top of everything else.

She never brought us side plates or silverware, and we had to ask two different servers just so we could eat. When we asked for to-go boxes, it was because we wouldn’t even eat the food ourselves anymore — it was for our pigs. She brought a box that was way too small, and once again we had to rely on another server to get us the right one. We also had to ask yet another server just to pay our bill and get checked out, because our actual server had completely vanished after comping the appetizers.

Honestly, the only reason service happened at all was because other servers stepped in. The two servers who actually made sure we had silverware and helped us throughout the meal got the tip… because they visited our table more times than our actual server ever did. The only time we saw her again was when another staff member had to go get her so we could cash out.

To make matters worse, our table area was disgusting. There was smashed food all over the floor underneath us, which made the entire experience feel dirty and unsanitary.

Between the cold food, incorrect steak temperature, nonexistent service, and filthy dining area, this was a horrible experience
