I am a regular customer, especially at the Woodbridge location, and I’ve always had positive experiences—until today (1/28/26).
Unfortunately, this was the worst service I’ve ever received here or anywhere, due entirely to our waitress, Theresa L. When we asked for a fruit bowl (something I regularly order), she flat-out told us they don’t do that anymore. As she was saying this, another server walked by and served our table a mixed fruit bowl and water. She then blamed a “new manager” for removing items from the menu, yet the menu was never taken away. Her attitude was dismissive from the start.
My salad came without the extra dressing I requested. I then ordered a non-alcoholic strawberry daiquiri, which arrived with no sweetener and had to be returned. By this point, her attitude had clearly worsened, and she was loudly complaining and explaining herself to other servers and waitresses throughout the restaurant.
The biggest issue came when our short rib masala arrived. Halfway through eating it, I noticed a lumpy dark object that turned out to be a molded potato. I immediately called for assistance, at which point a man who identified himself as the kitchen manager came over, as our waitress was nowhere in sight. He removed the mold from the plate and tried mashing it with his fingers. He initially offered 25% off, but I told him if I got sick, that would be on them. He then agreed to remove the dish entirely.
Meanwhile, the waitress kept insisting that no one had ever gotten sick before. I had to stop her and explain that I am a regular customer and have never had issues here—but that does not change the fact that molded food was served to me today.
She also never bothered to remove our menus from the table the whole time but was all over the restaurant explaining the situation to her fellow waitresses, laughing and making a mockery of the situation.
When the final bill arrived, we were still charged $3.99 for the daiquiri, which should have been removed since it was returned.
This experience was extremely disappointing and completely out of character for this location. I hope management addresses this, because this level of service and food quality is unacceptable

However in the last few years, we were glad to see them improve the menu to be even better than before. Last night, we had the best meal we’ve ever had. Our waiter Kiegan and all the staff were so considerate in every detail. We’re happy to be regulars again.
What made the night though was the service. 5 stars for him.
