We tried the gluten-free waffle, Nick’s Country Breakfast with biscuits & gravy, two eggs, hash browns and grits, plus the Hangover Deluxe — everything was delicious and freshly made! Portions are big, service is friendly, and the diner has that cozy, classic vibe that makes you want to come back.
We loved the warm welcome , great greeter and an excellent server!
The 50s atmosphere is super fun and cozy. Coffee was okay, but the food was really good.
When you go tell them Flavia Sent You!
The food is very well prepared with some creative twists. On the Fit & Fabulous section, there is a plate named “Bacon Me Crazy”. They grill the tomatoes, which reduces the acidity & adds warmth to the plate. Sometimes you just don’t want the contrasting cold. While everything else is warm to include the coffee.
I’ve lived in the area for years and only recently discovered Nick’s 50s Diner, at the suggestion of a friend who said, let’s meet for breakfast. Well….I’ve been back three times already.
Diner atmosphere for sure, nice environment for a low key breakfast , a tuna melt type of lunch or whatever you fancy.
The staff is great, friendly, attentive. They check on you frequently and let you dine at your own pace. Haven’t met a staff member who is rude or in a bad mood. Great work team!
The cooks are doing a great job also!! After all….we go for the food, right? They have a quick turnaround time from the time you order, nice presentation and tastefully made.
All in all a good place for food.
