Placed my take out order yesterday 9/10/25 arount 4:30 pm. In the Happy Meal we ordered we found a used crumbled up napkin. This Filet o Fish [pictured] was sadly, the better of the two that I was served . We’ve been customers at this this location for over 40 years but have found the quality of your food has really degraded over the last year. Such a shame

The new renovations were greatly disappointing. They removed the drink station and built a wall to hide the staff. They don’t want you to see your food being made because they are ashamed of their staffs image. However, this is still the highest quality mcdonald’s in the area when it comes to food and service. This location cares way more than other locations.

Just when I thought it was getting better. Not much has changed in the years going here. They had a sign that said if the person taking the order didn’t acknowledge you using the app and greeted you by name you get a cookie. Well I asked and no cookies were even made, no substitute offered. How lazy to have something to make your employees do, but then they can’t even fulfill something you decided to offer. Food quality has been declining. I really hope this location can improve

Says open 24 hours. I work late shifts and odd hours. Only restaurant apparently open. They refuse to answer the window at weird hours when people are inside. Waste my time more. I will keep coming back and complaining. Sat at window Monday 12/8, I even pulled up to the drive-through window and the clearly saw me. Very unprofessional they cannot even answer the window to tell me to wait, but ignore the customer. Also two people inside working by the way. Mcdonalds is proving to be un reliable at odd hours unlike they used to be known for. Sad times we live in with bad quality service.

When coming to Amherst and wanting McDonald’s, I recommend this one, 3400 Sheridan Dr. As far as food quality McDonald’s is McDonald’s. This one I would say has above average waiting time during peak times and the staff is diverse, mostly friendly and more focused than other McDonald’s around the area seems to be which is a major plus. The building went through repairs and a makeover in recent times which does bring a more focused and cafe “vibey” atomsphere to the place, so when going inside to eat, order or if you do uber eats or doordash or grubhub, it can be a calling presence. They have plenty of parking spots, but sometimes they can get overwhelmingly busy inside and outside at the same time, which can cause an issue parking. The store is upkept on an above average level, so you not walking into one of those restaurant where the floor is sticky and you not sure if your stepping on something that was genetically mutated like other restaurants. Overall I like this McDonald’s the best in the area and its 24/7, so you can always pull in for something to eat. Just remember around 3am-4am they get ready to switch their system to breakfast you’ll only be able to pay cash or go through mobile order.

As soon as I got up to the register to place an order (I wanted things that I’m not sure can be added to orders on the kiosk) the girl behind the register just went to the back and started complaining about how busy it was. I went there specially as it’s “fast food” and I was on my lunch at work. The girl who was supposed to be taking orders went to the back and was putting orders at the front with an attitude and disappearing into the back before assisting anyone. I understand it’s busy and chaotic, but instead of just walking away leaving the counter unattended, maybe get someone to cover/swap spots with someone to help.

This is a great McDonalds to go to if you want to sit in front of the drive-through speaker box for 10 minutes waiting for somebody to take your order only for them to ignore you so they can take an order from the person who just pulled into the adjacent speaker.

I was staving today after running some errands and stops at this McDonald’s using my mobile app. Hands down has to be one of the best chicken nuggets I’ve had in a long time. They were hot, crispy, and surprisingly juicy. Also pictured is the new special grade garlic sauce, I wasn’t a big fan of it and should have stuck with the hot buffalo sauce.
The reason I didn’t give this a five star, is the painting of the lines in the parking lot. It was hard to find a spot to put my order in, and then pickup in the drive thru. I also didn’t go inside. My interaction with the cashier in the drive thru was ok. I think we said hi and have a nice day, and that’s about it.
