The atmosphere was great, the service was also good. We order a steak and a lamb ribs, both are delicious. The price were ~50 euros which was still acceptable in torla ordesa

We stayed in town for two days and found this restaurant based on google ratings and Michelin guide. And it didn’t let us down. The food and wine were delightful. The service and atmosphere were excellent! Book a table in advance since the restaurant gets quite busy especially in the summer. The foie gras duck breast salad was soooooooo delicious and it was on every table, which made it a must order. We also got foie gras with toast, and those 3 pieces of foie gras were out of this world. Super yummy and they just melt in your mouth. I would recommend this dish too. Deer leg was brilliant and it made my husband super happy about the meal! If you happened to be in town for the hikes, try this Michelin guide restaurant or your will regret. 😛

We did the beef steak for two option. 90 euro you got a steak 900 gram steak that we could not finish because there was so much. A starter, a bottle of wine (which we did finish) and two desserts. More expensive, yes. But worth the money, yes. The portions alone are worth the extra cost for dinner and then on top of that everything was DELICIOUS. Now add on the fact that you feel like you’re in someone’s home and they are cooking you a special meal – this place was an A+ selection for dinner.

I spent three wonderful days last summer exploring the Pyrenees above Torla-Ordesa during my monthlong bicycle tour across Spain. I chose El Duende for one of my dinners, and it was an excellent choice. I tried the cordero several times on my trip, and this was the best! Wonderful, perfectly cooked. A beautiful restaurant in which to enjoy a lovely meal.

Beautiful location, tucked in a corner on the hill. Excellent service and delicious food. The portions are huge, so order wisely. The ambience is great, a real gem of a place.

We had the menu at 37.50€ but worth it. Being English I know what some of the best lamb in the world tastes like. So I took a chance and ordered the half shoulder of lamb. It was delicious, one of the best tasting lamb dishes I have had in Spain. It was a large cut and a struggle to eat it all but I succeeded, and worth the effort. The bottle of red wine included in the price was a delicious grenache with flavours of a good Beaujolais. The service was attentive and they provided a doggy bag for my partner who was unable to eat all her lamb.

The three course meal was delicious. We had the fish option. Wine and mineral water (still and sparkling available), plus the unique cheesecake and bread pudding capped it all off. Highly recommended.
