Food was a mix of hits with a few small notes. The Chicken Marsala had good flavor but needed more sauce — it was more of a glaze than the classic style. The Alfredo pasta, however, was absolutely delicious. We also tried the fish and chips: my husband said the fish was moist and tasted very good, though the coating was a bit heavy. He loved the unique Asian-style sauce on the coleslaw — a nice surprise.
Dessert was a highlight: the peanut butter chocolate cheesecake was very tasty — a true baked cheesecake (the real deal!). Just a heads-up that it’s rich.
Overall, a very enjoyable visit. We would definitely come back and try other menu items.
Service was outstanding. Erik was attentive with perfect drink timing, and Marc the manager personally checked on our table, which made us feel really valued as first-time guests.
We drove down from Davis County and it was absolutely worth it. Will be back!
I didn’t even realize until afterward that Tin Roof Grill was featured on Guy Fieri’s Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives — now it makes total sense!
The server was the sweetest ever, attentive and genuinely kind, which made the experience even better. The restaurant also has plenty of seating, making it a comfortable spot for groups.
Will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend….
Had raspberry/ lime cheesecake for dessert, and it was heavenly.
Incredible selection of beer, genuinely phenomenal food at a reasonable price.
Fish & Chips and Bacon Shrimp Mac were absolutely perfect and pretty big.
This is one of the places you just have to go to understand. I can’t recommend it enough.
We ordered the sampler appetizer, a seasonal prime rib entree and the steak frites. All were amazing.
On the sampler, the weakest link would be the meatballs. They were good, but paled in comparison to the croquettes, wings, and coleslaw. We’re not usually big fans of coleslaw, but this one was a standout.
The prime rib was prepared and seasoned perfectly. The sauteed vegetables on the side were bright, not heavy, and the garlic mash was smooth and comforting.
My husband ordered the steak frites and thoroughly enjoyed them, too. I tried them and loved the chimichuri and the fries. The same sauteed vegetable side was also part of this entree. We both agreed that we would happily order either of these entrees again.
For dessert we ordered the dark chocolate raspberry cheesecake and the creme Catalan. We were stuffed from dinner, so we brought dessert home to have at the end of the night. We loved both, but the winner was the creme Catalan. Sweet & savory with perfect texture!
