You place your order at a kiosk. I ordered chicken fingers which is supposed to come with sauce. They forgot the sauce, so I had to go back to the counter to get it. I had half a finger and that is all I could eat. They were not fresh and very dry. I like Steak N Shake burgers, but this was the first time I tried their fingers, and I won’t order them again. They also, accidentally gave us an extra side of fries that we hadn’t ordered. Luckily, this location did not have the “drink ticket” system that some of their locations do.

It had been years since I ordered from Steak’n Shake. There’s no location near me. Spotted one on an out of town trip. I was SHOCKED that they offered competitive combo specials. I chose a burger special that was under$6. It was fresh! Unfortunately, I had to make a stop which prevented me from tasting most of the fries before they went cold. I ate them later . They were tasty. My only wish is that there was one closer to home. But it’s about the economy; not about my sole wishes. If you see one, stop by. I found it to be more affordable than it was 10 years ago. ❤️

Absolutely the worse restaurant experience ever. Steak n shake on bill Gardner in locust grove might as well close. Went inside because the line was backed up almost out of the parking lot. Just to find out there are Only 3 PEOPLE. one of which was DANCING FOR TICKTOCK IN THE BACK. NO BATHROOM. And absolutely no customer service once so ever. You you are going to make your services fully automated. You need to make sure the system actually works. What we just witnessed was a joke. Thanks anyway

This is one of my favorite restaurants to visit. The food is fresh and great! The staff is always helpful, kind and welcoming. Susan was so wonderful to us tonight. Paul is one of my favs. Usually handing over our unofficial doctor, Dr. Pepper. I don’t get to visit a whole bunch but the staff seems to stay and the quality service/food is consistently great!

This is hands down the BEST Steak ‘n Shake we’ve been to in the entire country. The food is always HOT, FRESH, and DELICIOUS! Although Steak ‘n Shake now has kiosks to order, the customer service here is always friendly and polite. Absolutely love coming here!

My kids and I stopped by for lunch, it was very busy but the staff and managers were all very efficient, friendly and had great customer service. The restaurant was clean, and I even noticed their health code inspection was a 96! I know there were other choices to chose from but we were all glad that we chose steak and shake. The food was 100% accurate, hot and fresh! We had a great experience there and will definitely be returning

Best hamburger I’ve had in a long time. Decades ago I used to enjoy Steak ‘n Shake – and then not so much – the company degenerated. This new Steak ‘n and Shake restaurant concept was fantastic, and I hope to find one close to home. The digital checkout is incredibly easy, the food was fantastic, love the french fries Place was well run with great service. Less than $20 for two people to get a good freshly prepared lunch.
