I’ve been coming to Hopdoddy for about four years now. I’ve brought friends, dates, coworkers, emotional breakdowns, celebratory drinks, and at least three different “I’m starting my diet tomorrow” speeches. This place has seen every chapter of my life except my tax returns.
And somehow, against all odds they have never disappointed. I’m talking hundreds of visits. Not once have I had bad food, bad service, or even a mildly suspicious fry. The consistency is honestly unsettling. At this point I trust them more than I trust my own decision making.
The real stars, though, are the staff. Every single person is ridiculously nice, helpful, and somehow still cheerful even when I walk in looking like I just lost a fight with Monday. They go out of their way to make sure you’re happy, comfortable, and fully supplied with burgers the size of minor construction equipment.
I genuinely hope the owners are paying these people extremely well, because the level of kindness happening in this building is worth at least three raises and a holiday bonus. If they ever start accepting appreciation payments in the form of spare organs, I’d like management to know my kidneys are available (lightly used, premium condition).
At this point I’m not a regular I’m basically part of the furniture.

Hopdoddy is definitely on the pricier side. We spent over $80 for two burgers and two drinks, but the flavor really delivered. The burgers were incredibly juicy and packed with bold, delicious flavor. You can tell they use quality ingredients and put real care into what they’re serving.
The hot honey rosemary sweet potato fries are a must; the perfect balance of sweet, savory, and a little kick.
If you don’t mind spending a bit extra for a really flavorful burger experience, it’s worth checking out.

Ordered take out. The first time the food was really good. It was warm when we got home and I lived twenty minutes away. Parking is ridiculous. It’s best to just drive up and let somebody else hop out.Grab your food and go. It’s pure chaos on the weekends. Second time around the food was cold and hard. They Couldn’t find our order at first. By the time we got home honestly , I just wanted to throw it out. We spent eighty dollars each time , so it’s a bit frustrating wasting money. If the food came out the way it did the second time I purchased, I would never have gone back. I ordered a vegan burger on gluten-free bread with a handful of toppings in which I did not receive all of my toppings I paid for. I got the hot spicy, sweet potato fries both times. Those were pretty good The first time around had a nice amount of sauce however the second time around , not so much. They were dry barely any sauce and cold. I tried the brussel sprouts and I do not recommend. I was expecting full brussel sprouts and it was like these leaves..They were cold and kind of crunchy chewy in a bad way. It was a disappointment. I honestly don’t know if I will return That’s how bad it was The second time. I just had to throw everything out and I don’t like wasting money. I don’t know what happened. I may revisit and see if 3rd times a charm..

Absolutely loved this spot! The wagyu smash burger was cooked to perfection. juicy, flavorful, and everything a great burger should be. The Nashville fried chicken had a fantastic spice kick that added just the right amount of heat without overpowering the flavor. And the chili fries with queso were next level rich, cheesy, and totally addictive. Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to!

Nestled in the middle of a college town sits this burger joint. You’re given a plethora of options from all kinds of fries and sizes to burgers, and they have some interesting ones. I went with garlic parmesan fries and the Cadillac Wagyu. But subbed goat cheese instead of swiss and it was a banger after a long day. Definitely worth trying.

Zero notes on this higher scale, fast burger joint in Hillsborough Village. The surface was great whether there was at the register or the staff members walking around making sure everyone has what they need. You order at the counter and sit at a table where they’ll bring you your food. The original burger that I got was very good and I was happy to not have yet another typical smashburger like you find all over Nashville. The truffle Parmesan fries were delicious, but definitely sucked that you couldn’t get them in a side portion and only a large portion. The outside seating area was clutch as it was a cool night.

We visited here on a Sunday early dinnertime and it was not that busy. I ordered the Chicken Bacon Ranch burger and really liked it with the ranch slaw and chipotle aioli as it was a great flavor that it added to this burger. My husband ordered the same burger without the slaw and sauce….too bad for him 🙂 I am picky about fries and these were also really, really good. My sister in law got the classic burger and she said it was great. Oh, the buns that they use are to die for!!!
Would recommend you stopping by this for a great burger! (sorry didn’t get a photo of the burger before I dug in)
