Absolutely loved it. The welcoming atmosphere, the decor, comfortable and warm and the food, oh my goodness it was cooked to perfection and delicious.Theres also a free salad bar with main meals & the salad was delicious and so fresh. What made the visit really sparkle was the staff, sooo lovely and welcoming, I’m definitely going back there more regularly. A little hint..Parking is free but don’t forget to input your registration number in the tablet near the front desk, it’s easily missed out.

I visited the Resturant with my partner this morning! From the initial greeting, menu and food quality, the experience was amazing. We have just recently moved to the area and I think we’ve already found our favourite spot! Jean served us today, her attention to detail and patience to get us what we need was exceptional!

A frequent visitor and the food is always spot on, so we decided to give your Christmas Dinner a try, but overall we were suprised and disappointed with the food on Christmas Day.
The starters were 6/10 with some good points.
The mains were 6.5/10. Vegetables were very much undercooked. Meats turkey and Beef were both good. Pigs in blankets were way overcooked and the portion of stuffing was miserable. No cranberry sauce for the turkey.
Desserts 8/10 were both very good and tasty.
Service was good, but the request to the Chef regarding no peas or sprouts and extra roasties was ignored.
A bit of background Christmas music would have been nice. Nothing too loud that we would have to shout to hear each other.
The staff were all busy and did their best to make our day feel special, but overall I would give the experience 6.5/10.

Atmosphere is great, service really good. The salad bar as always is good. Honestly great service and atmosphere. But neither my lad (5) nor myself could finish our mains. His pizza was poor tasting like a chilled sainsburys budget one, my rice bowl was nice except.i ordered a salmon and whilst it was nice it was burnt. Not blackened burnt. I tried but a shame tbh.
The shift supervisor was exceptionally kind and tbh was a fantastic professional. Very astute and caring much like the rest of the staff.
Would go again happily to have that service.

A great place to eat. Lots of choice and best of all there is a salad bar that is free when you butt a main meal. Great for us as we like a lot of salad/veg with our meals. Service was great too. We took some time to decide what to have, but the lovely server Lisa did not rush us at all. She was very helpful when we wanted a couple of things left off or swooped to help pur dietary needs.

First time here for a while, went because we had a coupon. Food was good and hot, rotisserie chicken not quite as moist as I would have expected but nice. Good choice of food, reasonable choice of salad at the salad bar. Service was a bit slow, stood a while waiting to be seated and drinks took a while to come, overall experience still good and was value for money with the voucher, worth a visit

Had a mixed experience at Harvester The Winding Wheel in Wakefield. The fish and chips were a little overdone, or perhaps the cooking oil was nearing the end of its life, but the cheese-filled pasta shells with tomato sauce and garlic flatbread were absolutely delicious. The real highlight was our server, V., who was extremely kind, friendly, and attentive throughout the meal. It was a little noisy during our visit, but that’s to be expected at busier times, and the atmosphere was still pleasant overall. Would happily come back, especially for the pasta and the warm service.

Great quality food. Good portions and brilliant value for money. I especially like the salad bar, this places the Harvester way above other places for me. Left feeling full and very satisfied. Staff really friendly and welcoming. Can’t wait to go back.
