Went to buy mozzarella sticks today after placing an order to make things go smoothly, I got my order with the mozzarella sticks stuck together not cooked in the middle left a lot of the bather all over my seat .. call to talked to a manager that claim to be by the name of Chico place me in hold only to hung up on me. I called back and talked to a girl claiming to also be a manager and said she’s not awarded of what cooks put in the bag, after talking to her she hung up on me. I’m gonna report this store to the BBB and make sure the health department makes a stop at this location for selling uncooked goods and not taking responsibility for it
He wiped sweat dripping from his forehead with the palms of his hands and continued to serve food. I hope this is not an indication of overall Sonic standards. Based on reviews, I would say it is. This self proclaimed manager needs retraining on deescalation, and after today’s reported incident to corporate this worker shouldn’t even have a crew position. I will be following up on this location specifically to ensure something is done about Sean/Shawn, no name tags and refused to give name.
Picture of Sean who left the store to try to intimidate me into leaving while claiming to have called the police. Police never showed as I waited on the phone with corporate.
If I could give negative stars on food and service I would.
Attached picture of another review. Seems very common behavior for this location, is this true for your stores and business beliefs, Sonic????
Update:
It just keeps getting worse and worse the more I scroll on this locations reviews. It ends with me. The way I was treated is clearly the norm for Sonic and the location in Tucson, Arizona first avenue. It ends with me. I will be escalating this further than I thought. Today’s experience was not only intimidating but unacceptable. August 24, 2025 4:03 PM
I would like to be contacted by the franchisee. He needs to know who he has entrusted. Unbelievable that he has treated this many people this way, yet this is just the people writing reviews on Google, there’s yelp, etc. I needed popcorn for this one.
On a previous visit, I paid around $6 for a Free-Up burrito and received what was essentially a kid-sized portion. When I asked to speak to the manager, he refused to talk to me and waved me off. An assistant manager did step in and correct it, which I appreciated.
This location is inconsistent — some staff are helpful, others are dismissive. Customer service and order handling need improvement.
