Reviews
I’m not picky for sushi. I’m not, but hands down this was the worst sushi experience of my life.
Sorry, babe, I’m the future I gotta go elsewhere to honor you.
BTW: I’ve revised this review three times as I’ve worked my way thru the meal … I kept dropping it by a star each time.
The hibachi chefs were friendly and put on a great show. The fried rice was delicious, and the steak was cooked perfectly. The shrimp was a little overcooked and slightly salty, but the veggies were good. I also enjoyed that the hibachi meal comes with miso soup and a side salad.
Parking at this location is usually pretty difficult because of the theater and all of the businesses around.
As I mentioned, the restaurant has been very clean and attractive each time we’ve been in. We haven’t done the hibachi at this restaurant, so can’t comment on that, but the rest of the restaurant is very comfortable. Also, the food has been consistently very good, so I feel you can be pretty confident in that – we had 4 rolls and enjoyed each dish!
Lastly, I consider it to be pretty pricey, but that’s to be expected with sushi, so I don’t think many people would be particularly surprised about that.
Two of the people in our party did not get their dinner order. The rest of us were done with our food and it was at least 25 minutes after most of the food came out our waitress was nowhere to be found took us that long to flag her down and ask her where the other two plates were. I was a server for a long time and top priority is good communication with the guest. She said the food They ordered was not available but the manager said he would take 10% off if they wanted to order something else. That is completely unacceptable to make a customer wait almost 30 minutes after everyone else received their food That should have been a free dinner for those two people, 10% is ridiculous. At the very least it should have been communicated within the first 10 minutes of serving the table that their food would not be available. And we shouldn’t have to flag our server down to ask where the food is. My friends went home hungry I cannot believe they would treat customers this way.
