The atmosphere here is a combination of cabin meets sports bar. It does have a very open feeling to it with nice high ceilings and well lit.
I ordered an appetizer of a pound of Chicken Wings ($15) in their Sweet and spicy. It’s a good thing they are served by pound rather than how many, because they are pigeon wings. That being said they were good. Nice and tender and very tasty. Not that spicy either. The main reason I came was I heard they have an excellent steak. So I ordered the 12 oz Big Ugly Steak ($36). It came out as two 6 oz strips. The steaks are aged to perfection. I really enjoyed this steak. I came in with high expectations and it was met. I got a house salad that was very fresh and also excellent. My other side was mashed potatoes and these did not disappoint either.
The service was super friendly. The table still needed cleaning, so maybe slightly understaffed, but they cover really well.
Overall a 5 star review. Would I return? Absolutely!

This is a cool place to go. The food was amazing, Mallory was an amazing server, we were a table of 8 and she never let our drinks go empty. She was super friendly and gave great suggestions on what to order. The food came out fast and was delicious. We got fried pickles as an appetizer and they were delicious. Highly recommend this place for a delicious meal.

Our family stopped here for dinner on a Sunday night, we were able to get seated right away. We’ve been here a couple of times and have had similar experiences, food is average and service was okay (not very friendly and just a tad slow, not bad so I’m not complaining, just pointing it out that you’ll spend a little longer here which can be good or bad).
Food: We ordered an Italian beef, burrito, foot long kids hotdog, and a sandwich. Food was served hot but missing some flavor. My son ate his entire burrito so that would be something to check out. Fries were good, tots were a little soft so next time I know to ask for them to be a little crispier but if you like them softer they would have been perfect, just need to salt them up.
Service: Our waitress was fine, just a little slow. Sat on empty with our drinks a couple of times but nothing terrible so I would say service was average (similar to our last experience). No interaction.
Atmosphere: Nice atmosphere, clean.

Had the white chili and chicken salad combo. While they were labeled half-size portions, they seemed full-sized to us. My only gripe is thatvthe chili was delivered luke warm rather than piping hot.

My family of 11 chose to celebrate our dad, WW 11 veteran, 98th birthday and Lefty and Romo’s. We called 20 minutes ahead of party arrival to unsure my dad did not have to wait for a table, that worked out perfect. Our waitress was ok, service was satisfactory. Our big let down was after our meal, we were asked if we wanted desert, most establishments offer the birthday person a comp desert. The waitress explained no comp desert but the birthday person gets 50% off their bill, that’s great, however it has to be on the exact date of birth. My dad’s birthday was in three days, we came together as a family early so we all could be together as some came from out of town. When I explained that to the waitress she said it was policy and could not give discount, the manager explained if they bent the rules for one, would have to do for all. I understand rules, we were talking a $6.00 discount for a man that served his country! That may not seem like a lot of money, it came down to honor those that served, he has his VA ID. How sad. Can say I will not solicit this establishment again, BTW, that was my first time eating there.

This place had a group of dedicated employees that where absolutely there, only to make your experience more enjoyable. The waitress was wonderfully patient and very attentive. The Signature Burger was the best burger that can remember ever eating. The two cheeses were so tasty made me think that the ½lb burger was too small. One of the cheeses was salty and carried the whole burger. Sweet potato fries were excellent too.

We arrived around 530pm on a beautiful Sunday evening after picking our son up from Blue Lake. We chose to sit outside and sat immediately. Kim was our server, and she was absolutely wonderful. Fun, upbeat, interacted with the kids. We ordered apps and were blown away. Huge portions, delicious tasting. We ordered 2 apps but probably only needed 1. We ordered our food and it came out quickly. The 2 boys’ meals were great chicken strips and pasta. The portions were huge, and they could not eat it all. When I ordered my burger, I was asked how I wanted it cooked, and I said medium, there is even a statement on the menu that they are not responsible for burgers ordered well done. I could tell immediately they use a fresh patty, which is great. However, my first bite and the burger were well done and a bit dry. My wife got a French dip sandwich, and her first bite, the meat, was all grizzle and fat. The tots, however, that came with our sandwiches were delicious. Overall, we would probably go back just not order a burger or French dip. My sons hand breaded chicken strips looked excellent. Kim made the meal!! What an excellent server.

We were given a gift card to this establishment, so we gave it a try. Hubby ordered the ribs and I tried the appropriately named Ugly Steak. My “salad” (spring lettuce with a bit of cheese and some croutons) was fresh and the dressing was wonderful. I ordered the steak medium, but it arrived undercooked (see photo). It also left a strange after taste (think mildew). Because it was cooked more medium rare, it was chewy. I would have asked the waitress to have it cooked a bit more, but she never checked on us. Hubby said ribs were “ok”, but feels there are local restaurants with better. Although waitress was friendly, she was inattentive and appeared disinterested in us as customers. Needless to say, we will not be returning.

Serving portions are generous and service was excellent. Onion rings as an appetizer would feed 6 people! My husband enjoyed the bluegill dinner. I had an Ugly Steak. I ordered medium rare but got medium well. Server offered a new steak, but I declined. The flavor was good and the steak extremely tender or I would have accepted her offer. I gave an overall average rating. I would go back with friends who wanted to go, but would not make this my first choice to dine out.

It was our first time eating here. I tried the cajun gator. As much as I do like gator, I was disappointed with these. The problem to me is that they are so small that it is more breading than gator meat. It was more like eating tiny hush puppies. It was worth a try but, but for the money I’ll get something else the next time. The atmosphere was nice, and the staff was really friendly and efficient.
