FOOD: over priced chicken soup :
12/03/25 Wednesday
The chicken noodle soup is basically out of a can, quality and the amount in a cup(only filled half way)is not worth it( $5 + ? cents near $6).
It would be a next level or better if a creamy chicken noodle soup with more noodles & meat could replace current.… there’s a special brand that actually fulfills this purpose…. Not sure if allowed to mention it but it’s, “Progresso, and “ Campbells.” Just a new improved selection to replace the current selection…. Would be awesome and although I’m just one person, I’d be delighted to update my review if this is seriously considered and changed.
See photos attached of the meal we experienced recently.
Just beware future customers if you decide on their current chicken noodle soup item.

When I am able to actually have my order filled, the food is fabulous. But, if you are looking to have anything of the baked good variety (including just about any bagel) you are most likely going to be highly disappointed, because those items are NEVER available past morning hours. Which is quite the shame, seeing as how they are currently promoting new bagel stacks. The other day, they were even out of the baguettes that accompany soup.

Decent atmosphere. The kid at the register was a little rude, they don’t greet you when you enter the facility. The kitchen staff was very talkative amongst themselves and rather loud. Do not recommend the chai tea latte, it was spicy. Yes it’s a spiced chai tea latte but all you get is heat, no other flavor. Kids like the flatbread pizza and broccoli soup. Overall it’s good food. Staff needs work.

4 stars since we tried the curbside pickup one day and we got our food immediately but the next day, we had to wait in the drive thru. On the day that we did curbside pickup, the drive thru line was really busy and had a lot of people in the line and the line seem like it was not moving at all; next door at chick fil a, line was not moving too and it was a lot of people waiting. The next day, we wanted to go to chick fil a but there was a long line around chick fil a, so we decided to do the drive thru at panera bread because it was no line at all. We still had to wait 5 minutes or more for our food in/at drive thru. Food was good but the wait and drive thru line is not good. Our children ate the kids turkey and cheese sandwich. The chicken sandwich and apple salad were good as well.

Well Im a rewards member for years. Visiting Elizabeth city NC Panera and ordered the Chipotle Chicken Egg avocado sandwich. I have had this sandwich in atlaest 6 state and always my go to breakfast sandwich and Well made. Well NOT THIS TIME. Carry out hotel 5 minutes aways still hot. Open the sandwich and next to NO MEAT. The picture advertised of sandwich with meat flowing. Went back you lady say 1oz is what we put on the sandwich. But this doesn’t look like 1oz. @$6.49. I don’t go back and forth when I show you the sandwich. I know sometimes you say TAKE-OUT and no one thinks you will come back.

I’ve been to this Panera numerous times. Just like most everything else these days…you pay more and get less. I was disappointed to pay almost $9 for half a sandwich and it was smaller than my hand (and my hands are small). Their chicken salad was good and the price was reasonable for a full sandwich. My husband tried the new Asiago bagel stack and thought it was just “okay”. The service was friendly.

Went through Panera drive-thru Sunday morning to make a quick order, which was a normal experience. After paying at the window, I was direct to please park in the reserve spot to wait for my order, which I did comply. After waiting for an unusual longer time for my order it arrived, I asked the person if he could wait for us to see if we can verify if they missed any items, since it has happened every time I am asked to park in the reserved spot. The answer was, ” We are swamped and I have to go.” We continue to look anyway and found they missed an item on the list. Which irritated me by the way I was dismissed as a customer by who I believe was the day manager that delivered the items. Now I had to go into restaurant and retrieve the missing item which negates the reason to go through the drive-thru in the first place. I am not angry about the missing item I am unhappy how a manager treats a paying customer that had to wait for an order. When I worked in the fast food industry if I did that to a customer, believe me I would have been counseled by the manager. Times have changed too much for just simple customer satisfaction, regardless of how busy you are, every customer is important.

We used the drive thru so I can’t rate the atmosphere. Food is very good and the service was spot on.

Waited in the drive thru for 30 minutes just to be told that “they’re really behind and can’t take any more drive thru orders.” It really wouldn’t take much effort or decency to notify the people waiting in line instead of wasting their time.
