This experience was the worst dinning experience in my entire 2025 year.
Upon entering the establishment, the strong odor of marijuana was inside the building. I know marijuana is not illegal but it’s very frustrating when trying to have a family dinner.
We were a group of 6 and were told by the waitress 20% gratuities must be applied.
– The entire table never received silverware. We requested silverware numerous times.
– we requested napkins numerous times, the waitress brought us five napkins for the entire table. We had to go to the bathroom to get paper towels to use.
– I ordered 1 old-fashioned when we first arrived. My old-fashioned took over 30 minutes to receive.
– my sister-in-law ordered one daiquiri when we first arrived and received it moments upon receiving the check at the end of the meal (nearly 1 hour). The waitress advised they were operating slow and I photographed the bar area because she was lying. The bar was not busy and the bartenders were serving the people sitting at the bar without required rush.
– my other sister-in-law never got her french fries included with her meal.
– my 10 year-old daughter wanted to use the restroom, she said she could not do so because the toilets were clogged and feces was visual.
– When my daughter was brought her macaroni, the waitress had her finger in the macaroni when setting it on the table.
– When it was time to leave and pay, I told the waitress about the issues of the dinner and she said I must pay the 20% because it is the law. She stated I MUST click the 20% button on the card reader that she displayed because it was the law. I explained to her that this is not right and she stated, “I don’t care, I’m getting a new job very soon.”
I will never return to this business. I have included photos of my visit for validation. I would give this NO STARS if possible!!!!

Fall spiced old fashioned: 10/10 perfect amount of sweet. Fall vibes for men
Espresso martini: 9/10 good and strong
Thai crispy Calamari: 9/10 should be tossed in sauce, still good.
Spinach & artichoke dip: 10/10 wish there was more
Truffle mushroom and asparagus flatbread: 8/10 way too much artichokes, very flavorful.
Chicken quesadilla: 9/10 very good
Overall a very good first experience and we will be returning. Check this place out for happy hour.
What really stood out was his personality. He made great recommendations, checked in at just the right times, and kept the energy upbeat the whole night. It’s rare to find a bartender who’s not only skilled but also makes you feel like a valued guest instead of just another order.
If you’re heading to Bar Louie in White Marsh, definitely grab a seat at Xavier’s bar. He’s a true professional and a big reason we’ll be coming back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We have eaten here a couple times and we loved our food. I was impressed that the salad dressings are homemade. The French onion soup is delicious. It has a peppery accent that’s different and nice.

I had a really disappointing experience at this restaurant. The staff were extremely rude from the moment I arrived. Instead of feeling welcomed, I felt like I was inconveniencing them by simply being there. Basic courtesy and professionalism were completely lacking.
To make matters worse, my food was not ready at the time they said it would be. I arrived at the scheduled pickup time and still had to wait significantly longer, with no clear communication or apology for the delay. If you’re going to provide a specific ready time, it should be honored — or at the very least, customers should be informed of delays.
On top of that, the restaurant was clearly understaffed. Service was slow, and it seemed like the few employees working were overwhelmed and frustrated — which unfortunately showed in how they treated customers. I had to repeatedly ask for basic updates and assistance.
I understand that places can get busy, but that doesn’t excuse poor attitude, lack of communication, and unprofessional behavior. Sadly, I won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend this place unless management seriously addresses both staffing and customer service issues.
