Easygoing haunt for Chinese & Indian specialties, plus a full bar, served in a spartan space.

Steups…As a trini living in Atlanta I am very disappointed. After searching for a good roti shop this can’t be best Orlando has to offer? Spent $75+ today. You can’t be serious, the bussupshut is so thick and heavy looks more like Sada, and the Dhalpuri looks exactly the same, you can’t tell the difference…is it roti or is it flour tortilla? I nearly chipped my tooth trying to eat Kurma, it is HARD. I will say the curry was very good…it’s a shame I have nothing to eat with it.

Hubby and I had a wonderful experience. We ordered boneless chicken curry and roti. We got the channa and potatoes with it. The portion sizes are very big; hubby and I ate one together and I took my roti home. The lady also gave us this nice packets of sweet that tastes like the Indian sheera. Overall, a lovely place with helpful staff and food that is really worth your money.

Shorted me a doubles. Ordered six and was charged $19.17 and gave them a $5 tip because I was in a rush and they accommodated me. A simple, small order. Said six doubles at least twice when I picked it up and again when cashing out to be sure. Guy cashing even sad that it was the “call-in order” to the lady behind the counter and she said smiling, “yeah we got your order ready!”. Reached to work and was ready to share with two co-workers who wanted to sample and was equally hungry, before the patients started calling…only had 5 doubles in the bag. We nurses work nights so don’t really have much places to get something to eat after 7pm. One was for then and one was supposed to be for later. Since I sponsored, I sacrificed…Chipotle the next time. Can call in and quickly pickup with a guarantee.
Oh, might add that I usually spend $45 – $60 when not in a hurry, because I buy for two sometimes three people, and I miss Trini food. Rethinking that now.

Absolutely not the place to get authentic Trini food. We ordered the chicken curry roti and doubles. The roti was so thick and floury, we choked on it. The chicken, potato, Chana all had NO flavor. Food was bland. The doubles wasn’t even made correctly. First time here and money wasted. Only thing good was the pepper sauce and you need that to cover how dry and flavorless the food is. Ordering the food was unorganized. There was people standing overtop each other trying to see the food made. Very uncomfortable and disappointed. I wanted to like this place with the way they are hyped up. Don’t waste your money.

I’m giving this restaurant 5 stars because although no restaurant in reality is 5/5, i I thought Singh’a roti shop deserves a grade better than an 80%. First of the front line service was good all around by all 6 employees that helped me. I got Trinidadian doubles and something called cassava pone. They were both great for what they are, I like doubles more than I like cassava pone. They were both doubles are only $3.00. The atmosphere was surprisingly clean, pretty, and enjoyable. They have tvs. I’ll leave pictures of the doubles I’m taking back to my roommates.

Singh’s Roti Shop in Orlando is a hidden gem! Even though we arrived close to closing time, the owner went above and beyond to accommodate us with exceptional hospitality. We tried the doubles, which were absolutely delicious, and the fluffy, perfectly seasoned pholourie was a standout. To top it all off, we enjoyed fresh sorrel that was refreshingly delightful. This place truly offers an authentic and flavorful experience. Highly recommend visiting you won’t be disappointed!

Fast service and friendly people; thats correct friendly.
I know sometimes it’s a busy place but this morning it was quiet and the service was excellent. We ordered a few dishes separately to try with a single Roti to share amongst my wife and myself.
Food ordered: Single Roti with smoked herring; Baigan choka; salt fish; pumpkin; stewed oxtail . Delicious and well tempered. The Baigan choka could have used a bit of garlic and a bit more pepper.. other than that we ate half of everything and finished the roti. The oxtail definitely was luxurious in tase with great depth of flavor. Smoked herring had a nice spicy kick.
Pumpkin had a good sweet flavor and not watery. Salt fish dish was cooked with additional spinach which compliments the salt perfectly.
Now this is not a Michelin rated restaurant but let’s remember if your mother didn’t teach you how to cook West Indian food then you should come here and enjoy the next best option in central Florida.
Parking: large parking lot and no trouble finding the restaurant or its entrance.

This is truly a hidden gem! I love my island food. It was full
We got the curry chicken roti. It was so delicious, a bit spicy but it was worth it. The serving portion is a lot, I was only able to eat half for lunch and I ate the other half the next day. You can get it wrapped or served separately.
I’ve eaten here in the past and the food has always been consistent. I will be back.

I have been a regular customer at this restaurant for a few years. Lately the food has been lacking flavor. You can tell the cook is either overwhelmed or doesn’t enjoy cooking. Also, the restaurant raise the price and yet gave less food. The bathroom is disgusting. Tiles are missing and loose. It is dirty which makes me wonder about the condition of the kitchen. The condition of the restroom makes me think there is roaches and rats running around. The employees seem not to care. Sorry I will not be a return customer.
