Every time I am the in the Dallas Fort Worth area I come to crab Kings. Love the atmosphere the great customer service. The food is always top-notch if you’re ever in the Fort Worth area visit this location. Let them know I sent you, but if you are ever in the De Soto area combine and let them know. I sent you to that store too.

Daeshawn was the best host and server! He was so helpful and answered EVERY question we had…with a smile and great attitude!!!
The food was delicious and worth the price. Not a long wait for anything (food is freshly made and cooked when ordered) and it was served hot. Definitely a 10!

All boils automatically come with potatoes, egg and sausage link, not like others not sold separately but you can add more sides into boils. They’re food is very flavor and well priced.

The manager/ owner told employees to tell patrons they no longer accept groupons. I have bought 4 that I can’t even use.
I am wtg on groupon to respond, but they are taking their sweet time.
This is bizarre and I am protesting groupon and KRAB KINGZ.
DO NOT GO THERE!!

The food was amazingly delicious here. I’m always pretty apprehensive about eating seafood at restaurants. The price is high and the quality is never comparable. This place exceeded our expectations. The staff were so pleasant. I was told they never have frozen crawfish. My husband was pretty dead set on not telling anyone about this gem but, I can’t not give them credit and a recommendation where it is due. We will be back.

The food was simply presented. I ordered the Snow Crab and Shrimp boil. Seasoning was great, but there were more potatoes than seafood. Was nice to also taste real butter and garlic. This is so far the only place in Fort Worth that I’ve been to that isn’t putting sugar in their sauces (drives me nuts!). Was nice to see boiled eggs in the mix. And substitutions at no extra cost was nice too. The snow crab was not easy peel and was kind of dry. Atmosphere is pretty cut and dry and to the point. Their drink selection is fairly extensive. And they have a full bar.

The young man working the register was very attentive and kind.

⭐ Overall Rating: 3/5

Food: 9.5/10
The food is almost always amazing. I usually get the seafood pasta (family size) and it’s honestly 10/10 every time—one of the best pasta dishes I’ve had, which is why I keep coming back.

One time, though, the shrimp were overcooked and rubbery, which took away from it. My suggestion would be to add the shrimp last so they don’t overcook. I ordered it again yesterday and everything was perfect, so I’m not sure if the shrimp were pre-cooked that time or just cooked too long—but when it’s done right, it’s . I still highly recommend the pasta.

Service: 10/10
Service is always on point. My order is ready fast, bagged properly, and good to go every time. I also love how they’ll let you sample drinks, then help you decide which ones to buy—that’s a great selling point and really appreciated.

Atmosphere: 4/5
I can’t fully rate the atmosphere because I usually do carry-out, but from what I see, it looks fun and very South Louisiana style. There’s a small bar and a karaoke vibe in the back that looks like a good time. The place itself is small—kind of a hidden gem, which I like.

One suggestion: the restaurant seems clean, but it could really benefit from some touch-ups—like repainting or refreshing floors and doors. Dirt and wear on the doorways are noticeable, and a little remodeling would honestly make the place pop so much more.

Biggest Issue (and this matters): To-Go Parking
This is my main complaint, and it’s a serious one.

There are two designated to-go parking spots right in front, but every single time I come, cars are permanently parked there—not customers picking up orders. I checked yesterday, and nobody parked there was doing to-go.

I have a handicap child and another small child, and I rely on those spots to quickly grab food and get back to the car—especially when my kids are asleep. Parking far away just to run inside is a huge inconvenience, and honestly unsafe sometimes.

Other restaurants enforce this or bring orders out. This needs to be addressed. Those spots are for paying to-go customers who tip, not dine-in parking.

If this continues, I may honestly have to stop coming—not because of the food or service, but because it’s too hard bringing my kids.

Please fix this. Customers notice. I notice every time.

Our first time at this restaurant was not a great experience. We entered the restaurant from the upper level (back door) so we didn’t have to climb the long flight of stairs. We walked past the bathrooms to find 2 young ladies standing at a podium on their phones. I told them it was our first time there. One young lady pointed to a giant chalkboard wall which displayed the menu. We were told to view that, return to the podium to order, and could sit where ever we wanted. We went there because the online menu said they had king crab legs. I didn’t see these on the menu wall so asked about. I was told they were out. So, we ordered 3 different “platters” which included our menu items, corn, sausage, an egg, and potatoes. The ordering process was kind of difficult and the ladies weren’t very helpful. They seemed perturbed when we asked questions. We finished ordering our food & drinks & were told they’d bring it out. We decided to sit in the back room. The main dining area was extremely loud (music) so dinner conversation would have been limited. The facility is very understated and plain. Tables look like a fast food pizza joint. The back room had a better aesthetic and was quieter. It did, however, have slot machines back there which made it feel pretty tacky. When paying $45-$55 for a single meal, I expected a lot more ambiance. It became obvious after about 5 minutes that nobody was going to bring our drinks. I went back to the podium (the girls were on their phones again) to ask if I needed to get them myself from the stand up coolers and was told yes. We also ordered 2 more adult beverages at that time which we watched the young lady pour into glasses. I had to ask her for the bottle of beer we’d ordered previously. I guess it’s a self serve kinda place? When our food was brought, it was presented in styrofoam takeout boxes. We were given a plastic basket with napkins, ketchup packets, lobster bibs, and plastic forks. Again, we spent over $150 for 3 meals and we get styrofoam & plastic while dining in? We had to ask for seafood crackers. Then I went back to the podium again (yep, on their phones) and asked if they had any real forks. The girl said “you mean metal?” Uh… yes. She reached under the podium and presented metal forks. We only had one young lady come by shortly after we were served to ask if we were ok. Never saw anyone again until we walked passed them on our way out. That wasn’t pleasant either. As we walked past the restrooms, the odors were awful.
I know this is a lot of negative feedback. I want to be clear the food was very good. It is the atmosphere and service that were subpar. For the $$ we paid, I expected so much more. This may be a great takeout place, but I would not classify it as a restaurant.
