The new owners are amazing and make sure everyone is happy and enjoying their visit. Service is fantastic, attentive and friendly. They have a fun 29″ 2 topping team pizza challenge here too! They offer a pizza buffet during certain hours, and have a full menu of options if you don’t need a 29″ pizza! Dessert pizzas include cinnamon sugar, apple and another flavor. I chose cinnamon sugar and it was yummy! I’ll definitely be back again!

My family decided to check this restaurant out after seeing all the great reviews and we are so happy we did! We came in for an early dinner on a Friday around 4:30pm. There were some cartoons on a couple of the tv’s so my kids were thrilled. My husband and I did a build your own pizza and it was excellent! We kept commenting to each other how good it was. My kids each had the kids cheese pizza. Our server was very friendly and attentive. (I believe her name was Sharon.) She noticed we were wearing Great Wolf Lodge bracelets and asked if we wanted smaller boxes so they would fit in the lodge’s mini-fridge, so that was super nice! The restaurant started to fill up by the time we were leaving. We will definitely be back the next time we’re in the Sandusky area!

Stopped in before getting on the road to head back home from Castaway Bay, 1st time trying this place out and we opted for the buffet option. Price was fair, pizzas were fresh and options rotated nicely, could also request something specifically and they would make it and get it out to the buffet, really quick too. Waitress was great. Pizza good too, definitely hard to find a pizza buffet option anymore so thats what really drove us here. Definitely brought back the Pizza Hut or Stevie B vibes that we miss so much. Next time we are in Sandusky we plan to make it another stop.

Chet and Matt’s main service is integrity. The awesome pizza is just a plus. We ordered a pizza and it was missing an ingredient. Instead of arguing or offering a discount on our next order, they delivered a whole new pizza with the ingredient that was missing. Great little pizza place. Loved all of the memorabilia for local sports teams and Ohio State. We had the Mac and Cheese pizza and the white pizza. Everything was delicious. Also had Jim Beam peach tea.

We walked it and sat right away. Our server was great. We ordered a pizza, my boys ordered fries and I ordered a side salad. Our server went out of her way to make sure we had everything. We would definitely go back if in the area. The pizza price was great! We almost never get a full meal out for under $30!

My favorite thing about this place is that every time I go in they pretend that they have NO IDEA who I am!
I throw open the glass door and yell “Guess who it is!?!”
and the worker up front says, “I have no idea!”
Then I do my dance where I dance like Shakira and say “Oh come on, you crab! you know you do!”
And the worker will say, “Sir, no idea.”
And I’ll say “Don’t you remember me? I tried to complete the King Kong Challenge to honor the spirit of my dead wife (Gabi) on her heavenly death day and when I couldn’t you didn’t charge me for the pizza because I said I had to go to the bathroom and I walked towards the bathroom, but I didn’t go into the bathroom, and actually I left through the kitchen, got in my car and drove home.”
And the worker will say “Whatever, booth or table?”
To be fair, the worker upfront is usually a local high schooler who might have a bad memory because of TikTok and Sydney Sweeney.
I lose it every time! Classic Chet & Matt’s Style joke! The long con! The call back! The ol’ whosawhatser! These guys know how to keep a man laughing and also they know a thing or two about kneading dough to perfection because this pizza is terrific!
When I was leaving last time I knocked over 3 flower planters in the parking lot backing up too fast so I floored it and dragged a parking block into the center of the parking lot and nobody came outside or nothing to yell. They just pretended they didn’t notice and let me drive away. Talk about loving your customers.

We stayed at great Wolf Lodge and ordered pizza for take out. We love thin crust and ordered three pizzas thin crust! Pepperoni… BBQ chicken… And cheese all three amazing! Take out service was very friendly and they even have us plates and napkins.

My husband, myself, and our 9 year old son ate at Chet and Matt’s last night (Sun 1/19) around 7:45. It was a little slower with it being so cold out, and our waitress was really wonderful. Our son had an accident once we got outside to leave and I went back in for some water and napkins. She even grabbed him some Nilla Cookies, which was so sweet of her and very much appreciated. Our food, on top of the great service, was so good. The hot garlic parm wings and Italian dressing for the salad are always my favorites. We’ll for sure be back soon!

I ordered takeout and picked up at the drive thru window. Food was ready fast and line moved quickly. For tenders, tots, and a large 2 topping pizza it was less than $30. Good value and pizza was good too. Great option for families staying at Great Wolf Lodge or Cedar point!
