If I could give 10 stars I would!!! The best pizza I have ever eaten!!!!!!!! The micro crust is like the best. Congratulations to the ppl who started this establishment. I wish I could start one of these back home. And then the laughs…I wont spoil it for those whom never been. YOU MUST GO!!!!!!! I could eat a whole pizza by myself.

Best Pizza I’ve ever eaten in my life. The thinnest crust I’ve ever had and the most delicious pizza. The only complaint I have is that they don’t make a bigger size 🙂 great atmosphere and nice staff.

By far my favorite pizza place. If you don’t like thin crust pizza… This is not the place for you.. I wish they had a gluten free option though, for my wife. I would get to eat here more often . Great atmosphere. Love the old brick building on C Street.

If you’re a pizza lover and you’re in the mood for something truly iconic, look no further than Pizza House, a historic gem that’s been serving up incredible pies since 1958. Known for its mouthwatering, crispy cracker-thin crust, this place has earned a loyal following over the decades. The crust is the real star—light, crunchy, and perfectly crisp, it provides the ideal foundation for the savory toppings that are always fresh and flavorful.
However, as much as the food shines, the service leaves something to be desired. During my visit, I couldn’t help but notice a lack of attention from the servers. Despite being seated for a while, I never got a drink refill, and had to flag down a server just to ask for a to-go box. When it came time to pay the bill, I found myself chasing someone down for the check. It’s clear that the restaurant’s long history hasn’t been matched by a modern approach to customer service.

While the pizza alone is worth the visit, the service could definitely use some improvement to match the fantastic food. Still, if you’re craving a slice of history and a truly unique pizza experience, Pizza House is definitely a spot worth checking out. Maybe just get 2 drinks from the start?

This is my favorite pizza anywhere. It is thin crust, so if you’re not a fan of thin crust it might not be for you. My wife and I now live in Mexico. When I come back to Springfield I always bring pizza house back with me for her. It heats up really well in a pan or the toaster oven. Maybe this picture in Puebla Mexico will help it to become world famous?!?!

Ordered the 13” veggie deluxe and sodas. The pizza was good, but be prepared this is THIN crust to the extreme. Pizza was yummy, but service was lacking. Had to ask the person who brought the pizza out for a water that we had ordered when we first sat down. Will eat here agin because the food was good, and hopefully it was just an off day for the server.

Parking is limited because of location and street parking is about all that is available, but I don’t mind the walk, as I got to check out some of the stores and other places on the street.

The atmosphere was nice and the service was average, but the pizza was disappointing. If you enjoy thin crust, this might be your place. Personally, it was the thinnest pizza I’ve ever had — including the toppings — and it felt more like eating a sheet of paper than a traditional slice. Unfortunately, it wasn’t for me and ended up being one of the least enjoyable pizzas I’ve ever had. I wont go back.

Pizza is worth it. Something a tad different from your usual spots but also very familiar. Very thin crust but so delicious

The staff was very nice and friendly, the place is very unique with some interesting decor, the best part is they had my favorite beer. The pizza?? Meh. It’s not my favorite style, I would much prefer to have normal slices vs tiny little saltine cracker size pieces. It’s great for women and kids but as a full size adult man I want something less dainty. I had to stack a few pieces up to get a proper bite. The pizza tastes good and one of the servers suggested I ask for it uncut next time and then roll it up and eat it that way because they refuse to cut it into traditionally. I will definitely go back and try it that way.

Dare I say St. Louis style pizza is my favorite type of pizza now. This was THE BEST PIZZA I’ve ever had…i’ve not been to MO before, but love square cut which attracted us to try this place and so glad we did. The pizza was flavorful, quick, and inexpensive and the customer service was awesome. The staff was super friendly even though I asked a ton of questions. The salad was also really delicious with crispy fresh lettuce.

I can see why you have been open for decades. Dont change a thing!!
