Food was amazing. Service was fine although it lacked a personal touch. The server was fine but lacked the niceties that you may expect. Food was fairly quick and was delicious. We got the Fajita meal for two and it was delicious. Took leftovers home and lasted for another meal! The atmosphere was noisy and loud which fits the style restaurant, I just prefer a quieter atmosphere.

This is the full “Mexican” restaurant experience. Very fun and Latin atmosphere. Not a wild party spot, but extensive menu and solidly consistant food. I had Alambre, it is a sweet pork dish with pineapple giving it the sweet undertone.

Rest of the party had great food as well, but more typical dishes like Fajitas and Steak and Shrimp.

The food and service was great. We checked out at our table and I got a bank notification that I was charged $57.52 when my bill was $47.52. I was automatically charged an extra $10 for no reason. I was going to tip in cash. I took the bill up to the front check out to try to get an explanation and the lady had a horrible attitude about it regardless of me being kind and understanding. She stated she wasn’t going to do anything about it because the manager was on break for another hour. We insisted to call the manager or someone who could help. She continued to try to dodge us but finally opened the register and threw a $10 bill at us with an attitude. The workers here and the food is amazing. We have gone here constantly for years but this was a very bad experience and makes me wonder how many times they overcharge customers without them realizing. It’s sad and honestly disgusting.

I wouldn’t eat here even if it were free!! The foods is consistently terrible and my family has been ill so many times- I feel like I should have written this warning sooner.
In comparison to other local Mexican eateries the food at El Campesino is some of the blandest, lowest quality food out there.
Many years ago it was great, but it’s total garbage now.

Great Mexican dining experience! We were seated as soon as we walked in, our server was very friendly and helpful but not overbearing. Our food arrived at our table meer minutes after placing the orders. I had the Fiesta burrito and was very pleased with it.

We haven’t been here in a while, having moved a bit farther away and having closer places to go for El Camp’s type of food. When in the area recently, we made a point to stop in for lunch.
It looked like our old spot, although not as clean or happy. The vibe, if you care about things like that, was different. No joy. No warm welcome or smiling service. Not to say it was ‘bad’ – but something’s up.
Our food was good, although lacking flavor. It’s so hard to knock El Camp’s, but the truth is that my chicken didn’t taste like anything at all. There wasn’t even any hot sauce on the table, and our server was pretty scarce. I salted my food, which isn’t usually necessary at this type of restaurant as you know. The salsa, though, was as good as I recalled and the tortilla chips were warm and fresh. That made me happy.
Shrug. Overall, I’m glad we stopped in, and hope it was just an off day.
At least their pricing has not gone the way of what seems like every other restaurant. Most places we eat out are now a one-and-done because of the ridiculous increases – way past any ‘pandemic’ excuse, or any of that claptrap.

The food was pretty good, but it has definitely changed the past few years. It’s not as good as it use to be. They are not very busy anymore. It’s kinda quiet now.

The food arrives fast and there is a very friendly staff anytime I go. If there’s ever a problem they will make it right, just ask and they will quickly take care of it. A great place to go with the family or a group of friends. The margaritas are the bomb. The food is average, nothing really stands out and it’s a good value for your money.

Excellent food, excellent service. this master burrito thing i ate was delicious (i don’t remember what it’s called, but it had refried beans and guacamole on top of it). The price was good the chips and salsa were also free! It seemed pretty authentic, but also felt like a bar were people go to drink booze
