Long-running local chain serving a menu of hot & cold sub sandwiches, plus deli sides.

I was really excited to eat here after seeing a TikTok review. Unfortunately, my first experience didn’t live up to the hype. I expected a line (7p), but I doubt expect to wait 30 minutes for our food (one cold and and one hot Philly)! There were only two employees and the manager was taking orders and on the grill. Prior to us ordering he announced that they only had one pan of bread left in the whole restaurant. The whole place? Unfortunately, the bread seemed old. It was dark brown, thin and tough. Almost as if it was baked before rising or over proofed.
After finally getting our food (I think the grille guy forgot about out order)only after I got up and stood at the counter did he realize we still hadn’t gotten our order. I realized it was a problem because we were ticket 80 and they were calling tickets 84, 85, 86.
Anyway, the place is a blast from the past which I like, but I guess due to the staff shortage the condiments and drink stations were dirty and needed wiping down.
For the price and time and the so so sandwiches that was probably my first and last time. I hate it because I love sub sandwiches, but I’ll stick to Jersey Mike’s…mainly because I can be in and out and I prefer their bread and quality.

I’m honestly blown away by how good this place is. Baldino’s has been around for over 50 years, and you can taste that experience in every single bite. This is my new go-to sub shop, and it puts the big chain places — especially Subway — to absolute shame. The quality of the meat is on another level: fresh, flavorful, and sliced thick so every bite is satisfying. The bread is soft yet sturdy, and the portions are HUGE. These aren’t skimpy sandwiches — they’re fully loaded and built right.
What really makes Baldino’s stand out is the value. It’s hard to find high-quality ingredients at affordable prices nowadays, but they deliver both. Their daily specials starting at $5.99 are unbeatable, especially considering how massive the subs are. The staff is friendly, the service is fast, and the whole place gives off that classic old-school sandwich shop vibe they’ve perfected over decades.
If you want a real Jersey-style sub made with quality and care, Baldino’s is absolutely worth the stop. After 50 years, they’re still doing it better than the chains — and I’d choose this place every single time.

Delicious fresh food! Great service with kindness and a smile. My mom and I were definitely impressed. We are born and raised in NJ so we know a great sandwich. We highly reccomend this establishment for a great authentic taste of home. The cookies are amazing as well. Worth the drive every time. We come from Buford.

So disappointed. I stopped by the Baldinos in Doraville for the first time and left shaking my head. I drove from Stone Mountain, waited in a long line, and expected a great Italian sub. The one I got had barely any meat on it. Once I opened it up, it looked more like a veggie sub with a little meat sprinkled in. I guess you have to ask and pay extra just to get a normal portion, which shouldn’t be the case.
On top of that, my husband’s Philly cheesesteak was another miss. We paid for extra meat and still ended up with a flat, bland sandwich. No seasoning, no flavor, nothing that said “Philly” except the name.
For the hype and the drive, this just wasn’t worth it.

Place looks like an old diner, staff look slow, but get your order ready quickly, cookies are good not too sweet & sandwich bread is really good & fresh. I liked the tuna sandwich & stir fried was okay, make sure when you order your food that you tell them which toppings you want. Don’t be fooled by the pictures, the food tasted good enough after 1 hour later thanks to good old Friday traffic.

Always a good hoagie here.
I got the Italian and it could’ve did for more seasoning, but I added some and it was good. I will try the Cheesesteak and meatball hoagies next time.
Staff is always friendly and nice.

I haven’t eaten at Baldinos in years and I had an opportunity to visit this location recently and couldn’t pass it up. I took a first timer with me and she loved it. They never disappoint. Sandwiches are always on point. I wish there was a location closer to where I live. But I would travel an hour to eat their sandwiches any day of the week

I found this place a couple weeks ago, and I can’t seem to stay out of this place. The food here is delicious!
Here’s a photo of my pepper steak with tomatoes. And my chocolate chip cookie, with peanut butter and chocolate chip cookies.
All of this stuff including the bread is made here in House!
I had some cucumber salad to make me feel better about eating the cookies.

Really disappointed in the steak sandwich #26. I am assuming those big chunks that look like soaked grease paper are onions, although they taste like paper. This was the worst sandwich I ever had from Baldinos. The cookies were not fresh @1pm. They were hard and looked like someone took a bite out of one and they were hard. I’m totally disappointed in Baldinos today!
