Morgan G exceeded expectations!! She was amazing! She made sure our drinks were refilled before we even had to ask and was just overall great. She’s like the definition of perfect. Service like that makes all the difference. We live in Topeka and we’d definitely drive an hour to see her again!! 🙂

Steak Fajitas were excellent. Busy restaurant for a midweek dinner. Good and service were too notch. I just found the atmosphere a bit loud and packed which I’m sure is due to the restaurant’s popularity.

I had a very disappointing experience. I was greeted, but the bartender immediately prioritized two customers who arrived after me. The last guest to arrive was acknowledged and served quickly, and when I attempted to place my order after him, the next customer was still given priority over me.
By the time my order was finally taken and served, the two customers who arrived after me were nearly finished with their meals. That level of inattention to order of service is frustrating and avoidable.
To make matters worse, my takeout order was handed to me without utensils or napkins. Basic service awareness seemed completely absent. This experience felt careless and far below a reasonable standard.

The waiter was great it was the Manager in the evening. I asked the waiter if they could remake my salad because the chicken was not fully cooked. He did so very courteous. A few min later I had a Manager in my face very unhappy to just boldly tell me in his rude voice as if he was correcting my choice about my food in his voice. “By the way, I had them remake your salad even though I checked the chicken, and it was cooked fully. Just to make you happy.” Very sarcastically then said is there anything else you need. First off I didn’t ask for your opinion or a manager to come address the issue. I felt embarrassed after that. I felt also he was very rude. My salad was brought out and it took 45 min for them to remake it. My other party with me was already done with there meal. We started our dinner at 7:00pm on 01/02/26 Mind you, Once I got my salad. I was approached by 3 other staff, asking me is my salad better? I felt like I was being taunted while I eat. At 9pm we asked for our dessert that we ordered. It took them another 45 min to bring me one slice of cheese cake. I felt like me asking for a remake on a salad made them treat us very disrespectful. We should not have been there eating till 10pm to finally close out our tab and be mistreated the way we were. Also the night shift cook is not a good cook for food. This also was not a result of the waiter it really falls on the manager and is bad attitude towards customers.

I recently submitted a lunch order for myself and two coworkers, requesting delivery. The 54th Street website assigned me to Uber Eats for delivery. I received a message that my order was on the way and I went to the front door of our office building but the driver never arrived. The next thing I knew, I received a text saying my order was delivered. I tried to call the driver’s number but there was no voicemail and he didn’t respond to two text messages. I called 54th Street, but their automated message said they are not responsibile for delivery mishaps (and specifically named Uber Eats) and to contact the delivery company directly. Well, to do that you have to set up an Uber Eats account and once you do, if you didn’t place the order via their app, you’re out of luck. Or, in my case, out of $50.
I went to the restaurant to just buy another order and was met with a very sympathetice hostess who went and got her manager, James. He was also very sympathetic and took my order, made sure our food was prepared and when he brought it out, he wouldn’t let me pay. He was more concerned that a customer who comes to the restaurant often be treated fairly. In addition, he gave me a $20 gift card to be used the next time I ate at 54th Street. You don’t often find that level of customer service and James should be commended for how he handled this situation! Thank you, James!

I’ll be definitely be coming back for alma! She was soo sweet and helpful! She recommended really good stuff I just couldn’t decide everything sounded soo good! I end up getting the flat iron and grilled shrimp. Did not disappointed ! It was good. She was on top of it, my cup was not empty! I’ll make sure she is my server everytime!

This location is hands down my favorite location, and not just because it’s the closest to my house. The food is so consistent and so delicious. Haven’t ever had a bad experience here and I’ve been coming for years. Recently just took my kiddos in too and had to pull the supervisor over to compliment my over the top awesome waitress and my pasta that was the best I’d ever had it. I’m very frugal but I will always spend the reasonably priced money to come here.

54th Street consistently delivers great food and service. We decided to try the 2 for $40 and we were happy with our choice. The appetizer was a great choice. Our entres were hot and delicious! The dessert was fantastic. I couldn’t have ordered a better meal for the price from anywhere else in the area. 54th Street will continue to be my favorite go to for affordable and consistently great food.
