I ordered fajita, the fajita arrived at the table absolutely sizzling with smoke pouring off the hot skillet so funny and dramatic. The chicken was perfectly cooked, seasoned with fresh pepper and onion. the portion size was generous, I left with the remaining food in a take out pack.

My husband and I decided to try this restaurant out earlier this week for lunch. I got the 2 taco combo and he got chicken enchiladas. It was so good! I’m still thinking about the steak taco… so we will be back again soon. Picture of our order (after we started eating it because it was too good to wait!). Only recommendation is we didn’t see a sign on the outside of the restaurant? Might want to consider putting the restaurant name on the side of the building so it’s more evident what’s inside. For a long time my husband thought it was just a bar.

I had lunch here today and it was great! Hard to choose a menu option with all the delicious choices. I went with old faithful – fajitas – and they were so good. Our server was accommodating to a request for different seating. Made sure to keep our drinks filled. I have eaten here before and I will be back!

This was our first time at Aztecas and it was such a good experience! The food was so good. Best Mexican food I’ve had. The presentation and flavors were incredible. Our waiter was very nice. The other staff that were working were also very nice. Thank you for a wonderful dinner. We will definitely be back!!

Placed an order for pickup and they just randomly decided to not make half my order. Restaurant was empty so it’s not like they were busy. Claimed to refunded the items they were too inept to make but that was a lie. Out of the 3 things they managed to bother to bring themselves to make, every one was terrible. Not blah, but terrible. You’d have to try to make it that bad. I’m not that picky but will never eat here again and almost threw up. Something’s off with this place. Low effort and imcompetent.

A restaurant new in the New Ulm food scene. They took over a long vacant building and remade it tastefully into a bar/restaurant. We came on Sunday after church, and all the patrons were there for the first time. The menu is extensive, and is NOT part of the Aztecas chain in the Pacific Northwest.
We had the chips and salsa—which could have been spicier, but in New Ulm was probably appropriately flavored. We were a group of authentic Mexican eaters all the way down to new People to the Mexican cuisine. We took a while to order but the food was appropriately warm as served, the drinks were cold, and the server wonderful, though there was a language divide that took some work to get through.
We highly recommend going to page two and three of the menu for more authentic cuisine and leaving the Mexican-American page one behind. You’ll enjoy and appreciate the food more!
