The service was phenomenal. Kind, courteous and prompt. The manager even swung around to ask if everything was up to par.

Atmosphere is great with a nice view of the bay. Decor follows your typical Texas style steakhouse. Open but, cozy.

The food was good but, lackluster. The blackened redfish had very little bite to it and the steak came out slightly undercooked (but I think that may have been our fault, not the kitchen).

Overall, a solid spot for regular dinners if you live close but, not a lot to write home about.

oh Saltgrass…consistently disappointing. The fact that they are able to charge the prices they do for the low quality food they serve is astonishing. Their customer service is sub-par and 9 times out of 10 our order is incorrect and/or missing items. Wondering why we keep going back? Unfortunately, our family that visits from out of town likes to go here…so we eat here at least twice a year as a courtesy to them 🙁

Attended a company Christmas party here in the private room. Everyone ordered food and rounds of drinks and for some reason the manager cut us off on drink orders and one of us had to talk a waitress into it. Idk but they lost a lot more revenue than they allowed. Other than that everything I ate was splendid. The texas tbone was amazing! So four stars only because the food was exceptional.

We went there on Christmas day. We expected somewhat slower service and were prepared for it. But we weren’t prepared for the wait we endured. Our server, Jacob, was phenomenal, but he was the only bright spot of the entire experience. It took an inordinate long amount of time before our food arrived. Even though we had not complained, Jacob came to the table at least a half dozen times – and the manager once – to apologize for the slow service. My wife and I ordered the Redfish and when our plates finally arrived, our food was cold. My wife’s fish was raw and mine was undercooked. Both of our dishes were cold. Jacob summoned the manager and when my wife showed him her raw fish and explained the problem to him, instead of apologizing immediately, he studied her plate and appeared not to agree that the fish was raw. He didn’t offer any remedy other than to ‘”throw it back on the flattop”. We elected to box it up and bring it home where we could cook in an oven instead. The manager wasn’t sympathetic or apologetic, at all. When the check came, a minor adjustment of about $5.00 on bill of upwards of a hundred dollars appeared to have been made even though we didn’t ask for one. This was not a good experience; we will never return to Saltgrass.
Jacob was the sole redeeming factor in the whole experience.

Good service, clean restaurant, and the food was good as well. The Chicken Laredo was a bit low on flavor, relying heavily on the grilled onions, and not on spices. On the other hand, the ribeye steak, while cooked perfectly to order, was a bit salty. The overall experience was positive, and I would return again, if I was in the mood for steak (perhaps not for chicken).

This was our first time here. Most of the food we ordered was so good. The fried pickles and cheese fries were so delicious. They were almost meals in themselves. Our meals were fantastic.
I think our only problem would be our waiting. The problem with the waiting is that there weren’t a lot of tables being waited on for long waits.

I LOVE steak! And I’m very particular about how my steak is cooked and beyond that, how it is seasoned. I ordered the 16oz Pat’s Ribeye, med-rare and it was without a doubt, one of the best steaks I have ever put in my mouth – seasoned perfectly. We also ordered the Jumbo lump crabmeat crab cakes with lemon better – Very Tasty! The atmosphere is perfect for a date Or the entire family. The service is stellar and they also offer a full range of adult beverages. Lastly, you can dine inside or outside on the deck facing the water – fantastic view!

We were there today for my mom’s birthday. We went during lunch. The service was ok initially. Our server wasn’t very friendly and was kinda short with us but as we continued to talk with him he warmed up. We had seafood fondeaux, which was delicious and the range Rattlers for appetizers. For our entree we had the lunch ribeye with brussel sprouts, tenderloin tips, chicken fried chicken, chicken fried steak and the grilled chicken sandwich. Everything was good. I didn’t care for the potato soup. It was more of a chowder. Really thick cut potato and under seasoned. Steaks were good. I think they are overpriced but generally speaking everything was good

First time visit here. Atmosphere was great. We enjoy the outside view of the bay. After having to remind our waiter that we originally wanted outside seats. But that wasn’t his fault, it was the stewardess’. The food waiter was welcoming, friendly, and very honest about preferable items on the menu. Me and my wife ordered the Pat Ribeyes. Steaks were swapped, meaning I had my wifes steak and she had mine. After swapping, the taste was proved worthy. Steaks cooked to perfection. I personally didn’t like the seasoning. I’m a pepper and salt sort of guy. The brussel sprouts were great! I would recommend this place to anyone wanting a generic menu with a beautiful view.
