It all began on January 27, 1958. With $50 in the cash register, Del and Helen Johnson opened “Sizzler Family Steak House” in in Culver City, California. This was the place where everyone could enjoy a great steak dinner at an affordable price. Today, we strive to serve the best hand-cut steaks at the most affordable price for the whole family with the addition of a broad, all-American menu and an abundance of fresh and healthy options. Sizzler is the restaurant where America comes to satisfy its appetite with U.S.D.A. Choice steaks cut fresh daily and cooked over an open flame, fresh seafood, and premium craft soup and salads prepared fresh daily.

I recently dined at Sizzler, and it was such a great experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious — everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The salad bar had a wide variety of options, all well-stocked and clean, and the hot dishes were served at the perfect temperature. You can really tell they care about quality and consistency.
What truly made our visit special, though, was our server, Lissandra. She was incredibly attentive, friendly, and professional throughout the entire meal. She made sure our drinks were always refilled, checked in on us at just the right times, and made us feel genuinely welcomed. Her positive attitude and warm personality really stood out and elevated the whole dining experience.

Elexues was a great waitress, very kind, professional and quick. We were very grateful that they were open on Christmas for our family to come eat and enjoy time together. The food is always a hit, even their lemonades are delicious! We love coming here as a family.

I was treated well by Silvia who was my server. She was treated nicely and even though I accidentally spilled my soda she offered to have me clean it up. Very nice. I have to dock 1 start since the service was slightly slow as I ordered the Malibu chicken which is expected but it was made up for with the salad taco and spaghetti bar which I liked the most. The atmosphere is inviting as I like this place and will go back again!

Our server Lissandra was great, very attentive to our table. The toasted bread was delicious but the steak was mainly fat. The chicken was slightly on the dry side. My wife had the cheese burger and enjoyed her dish. Not a bad place to go for a quick bite. Service was great.

After a long day of driving visiting Grizzly Falls of Sequoia National Park, on the way back passing Merced, we looked for a sizzler since we just wanted soups and salads. Luckily this one was on the way and we stopped by.
The place is in a big shopping center so we had plenty of places to park. The restaurant looks new and very clean.
It’s been a few years since we’ve been in a Sizzler. The salad bar is the middle of the restaurant as usual. There are many steak specials, but we’re only interested in the full salad bar. The price has been up since then, $20 per person now. We did expect that because of all inflation. Quite reasonable although more expensive than some steak and shrimps on special for $17.
The cheese toasts here are always the best, crispy and tasty, perfect with soups. The beef soup was very good, although the clam chowder I used to eat wasn’t so rich as now.
The salad bar has plenty of things to choose from that’s why I like. Chicken and spinach salads are always excellent.
We also made our own salads with many tasty dressings. The hot foods included with chicken wings, spaghetti and meatballs, tacos, chips and salsa with guacamole.
We enjoyed the soups and salads very well.
