This place is solid! Nice atmosphere, VERY brewery focused, with some decent food. The mocktails were awesome, and our server did a little thing with the lemon that was great. The food being served on metal platters with the room being cold made the food get cold quicker than usual but that’s the only complaint really!
I would recommend this place for a quick lunch and drink while in Ft Wayne, or maybe a lunch pie with some friends.

Nice menu selection with decent prices. My husband and I each got a 10oz beer it was under $10 total. We were town on what to order. We ordered 2 sandwiches & split them. The server offered to have the sandwiches cut in ½ for us. That usually doesn’t happen. The Hot Chicken Sandwich was nice and crispy. Everything we ordered had an awesome flavor profile! Highly recommend the Hoppy Gnome!!

First off—the layout, atmosphere, and interior design are so well done. It just feels fun and cozy but still nice, and it’s the kind of place you want to hang out in.
Now the food: the tacos are unreal. The Bob Marley taco and the Barbacoa taco are my go-tos, but honestly I’ve had almost all of them at this point and they’ve all been delicious. This time we got the cheese curds as an appetizer and the sauce that comes with them was ABSOLUTELY insane—like you have to try it.
Drinks are also a win. I’ve gotten a flight of their best ales/beers and they were really good, and I’ve also tried an old-fashioned bourbon there that was super good and kind of citrusy.
On top of all that, the service is phenomenal—everyone is nice, helpful, and makes the whole experience even better. Highly recommend.

We are from Oklahoma and just here for a business trip and we had to try this place. It was so good! I got the wake me up burger and let me just say that was the BEST BURGER I’ve ever had. My husband got some tacos and queso and he said they were amazing. thank y’all so much for some delicious food and great staff!

I have been to The Hoppy Gnome a few times in my life. I went here to celebrate my birthday once when I was in high school sometime. I like how this place is downtown and by the street. I love the atmosphere inside and how the ceiling is and how it’s echoes in here. I also have sat outside with my college friends for the 4th of July once with my Ivy Tech college friends (back in 2023) and sitting outside was amazing. I loved❤️ the view. 5 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The food was excellent, the service was good, and the atmosphere was cool. 5 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I’ve dined at Hoppy Gnome many times and it is alway great. I recently used their online ordering system and highly recommend it for anyone wanting a delivery or pick-up option. The process is so easy to use! I love to be able to add or delete items accordingly. I ordered the Steak Frites and it was honestly one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. Cooked to perfection! The Burger is also fantastic. When you think of Hoppy Gnome, you usually have Tacos in mind, but the Burgers and Steak are top notch and are great options on their varied menu.

I had given a previously bad rating due to an entrée my fiance and I both picked out . Once my review was seen the GM had taken it to his own responsibility to make sure he fixed our previous bad visit. I will say that this visit was just ad great as our others. He was absolutely great with our service and our food was phenomenal. We had a not so good week and this food was the pick me up we needed for our week. We are always going to be going back to hoppy gnome they care about their customers and you can definitely tell.

Made a reservation on NYE and loved it! Service was amazing. I wish I could remember his name to give him a shout out! He knew his stuff and offered us lots of great recommendations since this was our first time here. I got an espresso martini and LOVED it! Better than most I had. Our table of 3 all got different tacos to try! They have quite the options. I will say the tacos lacked in flavor just a bit, but we will definitely be going back!

Brunch was great. They missed our table and we had to ask for service but the waitress and manager (Evan) was really apologetic and the service was fantastic.
