Decided to eat McDonald’s this afternoon around 430pm and was very very happy from ordering,paying and receiving food. Big mac meal no salt fry. Double quarter meal large. We stopped here to rest and get a snack. The corporate model in this building centers on customer services with quick food delivery. I don’t like the loss of self serve drinks. Instead, you must stand in line waiting for someone else to pour your drinks. I like light ice but no one can seem to grasp not filling the cup to the top with ice before adding 2 ounces of drink. There is a couch in the seating area but it isn’t comfortable and I think it’s made for people under 5’4″. If you are a large person (weight wise), you will like the large couch. Service was nice and they took care of any wants you had prior to disappearing so think fast about anything you need. After the initial encounter, you must stand in line to get what you need. There is a departure from the normal at this location. Not sure if I like it but try it yourself and see if it works.

And they need to either keep the lobby closed or keep it open regularly, not have it online as open but have rhe doors locked when you get there.

Yo this by far was one of the better McDonald’s I’ve been to. We were leaving Blue Ridge after a weekend in the mountains. The food was hot!!! My fiance’s chicken biscuit was juicy!!!! Took him by surprise. My sausage egg McMuffin was delicious. I know where to go if I ever go back.

I looked online before leaving home to ensure they were open. Their website shows the drive thru being open until midnight. I pulled into the parking lot at 10:55 and the building was in darkness. All employees were out in the parking lot. If you say you are open until a certain time…. You need to be.

Not a bad Micky D’s at all! Manager was on duty and she was nice and professional. The seating area was clean. It was remodeled so it’s the modern, industrial look. One bad thing, I missed the drink station out front. They make all your drinks behind the counter somewhere. Odd. Leftover from covid I imagine.

We were waiting with several others in the drive-thru line and when we got to the window they stopped taking orders. I understand you have to stop talking orders at some point, but you don’t just let people wait in line and then tell them they can’t order. Zero customer service!

I did not order food today and here is why. The store doors were locked so I had nowhere to use the restroom or wash my hands. I travel for work through Blue Ridge so this is a must for me. I called the store to inquire and was told the doors were closed because the shift was short staffed. Ok, I can understand that but what about customers that need to use the restroom or wash their hands? The response to this was that both customer bathrooms were out of order. I asked how customers were supposed to wash their hands then. They said they had hand sanitizer. I’m sorry but I don’t want to taste hand sanitizer when I eat since their foods are eaten with your hands. This also means they are not ADA compliant as there are folks that require restroom access due to a disability. My next step is reporting to the health department and ADA.
