Company 7 BBQ was founded by a family of firefighters after considerable research and investigation. We are convinced that customers will prefer excellent, slow cooked barbecue in a friendly, upscale atmosphere. Décor evokes the feel of a 1920’s fire house – warm woods and a lot of brass. The facility is decorated with fire awards and memorabilia that the owners have collected over the past 25 years. We have a Full Dining Area, a Free Banquet Room, a Drive Through, an Order OnLine Platform, a Patio, and a Fire Engine Bar.
Casual firehouse-themed joint serving a variety of slow-cooked BBQ & fixings, plus craft brews.

Our server was wonderful! Very happy, helpful and joked around with us. (I wish I would’ve gotten her name because I would ask for her the next time I go.)
There were 6 of us and we got a variety of food. It arrived hot and all of it was delicious!
While waiting for our food, I enjoyed that the atmosphere was fun and everyone there seemed to be having a great time.
A note… I am gluten intolerant so I didn’t eat the cornbread. I ate the super loaded baked potato and 2 veg sides with no issues. The shredded brisket on the potato was SO good.
I visited Englewood, Ohio
I ate at Company 7.
Englewood itself didn’t inspire me to stake a claim to a homestead within its geographical boundaries, but Company 7 was a proverbial diamond in the rough so it was worth the trek to the area.
The So So: Came in at lunch with a party of two. The 6 minute wait at the door didn’t foreshadow a “Michelin Five Star Service” experience, but considering there was one player in the game serving tables at the time it was understandable.
The Pepsi Zero tasted like the chemistry class at the local high school was experimenting with random chemicals and came up with that particular beverage as their end product. I survived the next 8 hours so whatever it was it was aok for human consumption.
The Service over all was lacking. There was no pre bus of our dishes. We had to wait a while to get our check – but there was ONE person waiting on 6 or 7 tables so only the most cold heartedly objective client would muse for a long time over the shortcomings in this area. I am sure when they’re staffed properly they are putting fires out a lot faster (pun fully intended).
The What the Hell is This: I ordered Brisket, Baked Potato, Green Beans, and Corn Bread. The brisket was roasted so perfectly I could cut it with a plastic spoon. I thought I had stumbled into a Brisket Pageant with this cut of meat winning first prize in every category that matters to a fat dude at lunch time. The various sauces had to have been formulated in a kitchen meant to serve the seventh choir of Angels they were so divinely spiced. The Potato was hot enough I could’ve melted the tires off the giant fire truck behind the bar. The green beans were nasty as dishwater but it’s really not their fault, they’re vegetables and I hate them for it – so they had no chance in this review anyway.
The corn bread? Lord have mercy. If I lived in the area that dish alone would be responsible for at least another 70 pounds of body mass.
The really incredible part of this grand production was lunch for two with dinner entrees was less than 60.00 with a 20% tip.
If you don’t stop and eat here there is something seriously wrong with the level of appreciation you have for barbq and the accompanying animals you slather it on. Thank you for the best lunch I may have ever had. The Tuna
They’ve also got a great lunch special if you’re into sandwiches. I’m living the keto life, so I skipped the bun (didn’t bring a keto bun), but the sandwiches coming out of the kitchen looked incredible. The dining room is beautiful with firehouse-style decor, plenty of space, and a variety of TVs that make it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal.
I ended up asking Patrick, the son of the owner, a few questions about the menu, and you can genuinely feel the family-owned and operated vibe that makes a local place worth visiting. Sauce selection is wide—I didn’t try them all because of keto, but they even have a sugar-free option if you ask. There’s also a large bar with a huge selection (I stuck with water). Highly recommend.
Food was good. Some better then others.
The beef brisket was good. It was the variety of BBQ sauce that made it great.
Shredded chicken was not good. I had to load it with sauce to eat it.
Fries tasted like old oil and needed some salt or some kind of seasoning.
Baked potato was good.
Overall the food was alright, but it was the service, prices, and atmosphere that is going to bring me back.
Maybe 1 side and more beef is good.
The local is dark and the table and floor wasn’t clean, need more attention for it.
The food comes quickly and the serves is great.
My friend and I were there on February the 19th around 3:30 in the afternoon.
The music was so loud we couldn’t even hear to talk to one another so we asked to be seated by the windows up front.
The waitress was not happy that we wanted to sit by the window.
She rolled her eyes as she walked us over to the table by the window to seat us.
The table was dirty so I asked her to wipe it off. She didn’t like that either.
We were both very disappointed in our meal. and the the waitress was not happy that we wanted to sit by the window so that we didn’t have to have the loud music in our ear we couldn’t even hear over the music to talk to each other. She rolled her eyes as she walked over to the table by the window to seat us and then the table was dirty so I asked her to wipe it off. She didn’t like that either.
She and I both had decided we would not return to the restaurant.
