I was in Richmond for the annual San Pablo Avenue March of Hoes from Telegraph Ave all the way up to McDonald, where all the nighttime Hoes come out during the daylight for all to see! It’s quite a sight, and the best place to see all the dysfunctional people is from a window seat at the El Pollo Loco Chicken Restaurant, right there on San Pablo Avenue! Let me tell you… Nothing beats watching Hoes strut and shuffle while your eating perfectly cooked chicken and fries! 5 stars ☆☆☆☆☆

El pollo loco is a solid fast food place. The chicken is freshly grilled and the all the other options are always delicious. The employees at this location are usually pretty nice and polite. They do get really busy during lunch time and can be irritated sometime, but I would blame it on the some of the annoying customers. The sides we usually get are: fire corn, mashed potatoes, and rice. If I had to make one change though I would say it’s a bit on the salty side. I tend to have to drink a lot of water after this delicious meal.

@polloloco Never again I will not buy chicken at el pollo loco in San Pablo CA , I used to buy here all the time but lately the chicken is getting worst, I ordered 2 (8) pieces orders for a total of 16 pieces and all the pieces were burnt I will never will return, not worth spending $36 on trash

Don’t know what’s going on there, but when you knowingly give bad chicken to a drive through customer several times in a four week period who’s been coming to the same location for several years almost on a weekly basis. It’s a problem. Especially when it affects a person stomach. Never had this problem before, but lately the chicken is dry and tastes old! Hopefully the issue will be looked into.

Today when I went to El Pollo Loco I did not have the best experience. The only thing I ordered was chips and guac and it took them half an hour to get it done because they were serving people who came after me though what I ordered was a simple thing they could have gotten earlier. They did not have their priorities straight today. Seems like you couldn’t be served right unless you were a police officer or complaining (both actual occurrences). They’re also low staffed. There were about 20 people in the restaurant but one cashier. My two star rating is honestly nice. I wouldn’t recommend coming here until they get their stuff together.
