Wow. Don’t take my word for it, try this place. We were passing by, and wanted to have lunch after a Dr’s appointment. I think I found me a favorite restaurant on the East side. I am not a big fan of Italian food, but whoa, this place left me feeling satisfied, full, and Happy. I recommend you ask for Skarlette as a server. She puts off great Energy and was extremely helpful. She was around enough to take care of all our wants. Grilled bread and good olive oil, perfect, and might be the best bread I have Ever eaten. Calamari was great, sandwiches were hot and extremely well made. Ended sharing the Tiramisu with the wife. Love this place. Atmosphere was peaceful and feels like Gilbert. Must try!

What a wonderful surprise! Last night my wife and I were looking for a local place to check out and came across North Italia. Right when you walk in you can smell so many delicious smells. We started with the Eggplant Parmesan small plate. It was PERFECT! Honestly, we could have had that with a side of their homemade pasta and would have been satisfied. For dinner we ordered the Crushed meatball Ragu and a jalapeno popper pizza (limited time item). My wife really enjoyed the pizza. It was the smokey backyard bbq popper flavor she was use to as a Texan but on a homemade pizza crust! My pasta was everything you’d want your inner foodie to have in a red sauce dish, tons of flavor, scorched onions, pancetta, and lots of crushed meatballs. We finished things off with their Tiramisu because we thought it would be the perfect Italian finish to the night, we weren’t wrong! We will definitely be coming back!

Food is great, service needs training!

We went to celebrate our friend’s wedding anniversary here. While the food is top notch, the service need to match the same quality.

7 of us got seated at the table and we only had 4 silverware. We requested for 3 more and we were waiting even after we got our first appetizer. I was closer to the silverware, so I just grabbed them.

Btw the food takes some time to get to the table after we order. So just enjoy the company and ambience while waiting.

We’ve been here twice now and both times have been incredible! My husband and I opted to seat ourselves at the bar instead of waiting an hour+ for a table. The bar tender who helped us gave us flawless recommendations and didn’t disappoint! The braised short rib lumache, the old fashioned, and the hazelnut torte were absolutely superb. We couldn’t be happier with our experience!

My new favorite restaurant. Lively atmosphere with lighting and music just right to be warm and fun, but perfect to still see the food and hear eachother talk. Every dish was outstanding, and the server was friendly without being overwhelming, knowledgeable about the menu. Recommended for groups of friends, a date, or a special occasion.

A tad expensive for an underwhelming experience. We had never been to North Italia and stopped in for Sunday dinner. Atmosphere was elegant and inviting, but the drinks we ordered were not available because of the vendor, we were told. The waiter seemed impatient and took the tack of rushing us rather than explaining what a vegetarian or pescatarian might order off a meat-heavy menu. The food was delicious except for the $12 tiramisu, which contained tough lady fingers that hadn’t been soaked in coffee liqueur (a northern Italian version?) and was pretty bland overall. With tip the meal came to $160–and would have been about $20 more had the drinks been in stock. I’d recommend the squid ink pasta but not sure if we’d return.

Food is fresh and delicious. House made Focaccia was a great starter. Light texture with a nice butter taste.
Crispy Eggplant Parmesan was lightly breaded with a perfect kick of spice.
The Bolognese had a very bold and hearty taste that matched incredibly well with the Borgo Scopeto Cianti. Toasted Coconut Cake for dessert was the closer for the win! Clean outdoor seating. Great service from Mariah.

1st time in today on a whim with my Wife. We were greeted right away & sat with a direct kitchen view. The place was buzzing, open, lively & welcoming. The bread and olive oil/balsamic appetizer was smackon’ those taste buds into line! The char and sweet balsamic with oil was a knock out FOR BREAD!!! Wait… It gets better!!! I ordered spicy rigatoni vodka and it was to die for! I was astonished at how good that dish tasted! Food has gotten a little boring and this place sparked the pallet like no other! Perfect amount of hot/spicy with the baby chinvks of meat and the sauce… Oohhh I was going to eat every drop despite what my body wanted! The place was clean and full of staff to help. The dishes came out hot and very well presented-not slopped onto a plate. My wife got the chicken parmasean and ate all of it! Loved every bite. I couldn’t believe she wanted desert so we discussed the offerings with David our very attentive and super-chill server whom we will ask for by name next time because we are bringing family and friends back to share the goodness! Banana pound cake topped out the meal and there was nothing left! I do want to mention they filter the water very well so the soda and water were fantastic! Thank You North Italia host/server/kitchen for an AMAZING experience that other places cannot provide!

We made a reservation for four for 5pm. The place was getting packed when we got there at 4:45 pm. Reservation is recommended for sure. Seated in a semi private room off the outdoor patio. Very cozy and quiet. Outdoor patio had two portables and misters going. Italian cuisine is somewhat difficult to interpret if you are not familiar with the dishes. Spouse chose the shrimp pasta, and I chose a chicken dish I could not pronounce correctly. The cuisine arrived in a timely manner and was presented well. Our server was attentive and friendly. Checked on us frequently. Wine selection and desert selections were quite extensive. Good place for a romantic evening or a gathering of families. Lots of children in our semi private area but were not distracting. Upon leaving, we noted that we enjoyed the semi private accommodation as the outer area was quite crowded and very noisy. Overall a really great experience for first time patrons.

Took my best friend here for her birthday. Her pick. It was my first time. Definitely will be back. The food was INCREDIBLE!! Service was great. Make sure you make a reservation if you go in the evening. Even during the week!!
