Her food recommendations were absolutely spot on. Every single dish she suggested was outstanding and you could tell she genuinely knew the menu inside and out. She described everything with so much detail and passion that we wanted to order it all. Nothing disappointed. It was one of those meals where you just sit back and keep saying wow.
What really stood out was how effortless she made the entire experience feel. Our drinks were always full, she anticipated what we needed before we even asked, and she checked in at exactly the right moments without ever interrupting the flow of the night. She elevated the whole dinner from great to unforgettable.
Jordyn is a huge asset to LAVO. If I owned this restaurant I would want a whole team trained by her. She is the kind of server that people come back for. We will absolutely be returning and requesting her every single time. She is hands down the best server at the restaurant.
Reservations are highly recommended.
Personal favourites were Garlic bread and Affogato.
1. When we arrived (with a reservation) I walked up to a side door that was open right next to what ended up being the main entrance. Two waiters locked eyes with me (obviously looking for guidance if I was in the right place) and didnt speak to me or offer help.
2. The waitress took the time to mentioned an additional shot of bourbon was only $10 more. My husband and I were elegantly dressed, suit and tie and black gown and heels. Not exactly the customer base that needs a ‘deal’ on what turned into a $200+ meal.
3. The garlic bread was really good, as we’re its 3 dipping sauces. Arguably the only good thing.
4. My husband got SEVEN ravioli. And they weren’t big ravioli, just your standard 1″ ravioli.
5. My chicken parm was massive but bland. All the food besides the garlic bread was tragically bland.
6. My side of penne was al dente, a hair shy of undercooked. I prefer al dente, and this was cutting it close.
7. Wait staff came by ONCE in a 90 min dining experience to ask if the food was okay, but 6 times to try and take plates that we were obviously still working on.
8. My husband opted for grated cheese on this ravioli and told the waitress to stop grating and she kept going for another 3/4 grates.
Overall not worth it. Save your money and go to Capital Grille. Disappointed the Venetian is hosting this location.
The restaurant was clean and well-maintained, and the staff was polite, but overall the experience didn’t leave a lasting impression.
If you’re already at The Venetian, it’s a decent choice for a meal, but I probably wouldn’t go out of my way to return.
This place was amazing.
The atmosphere was wonderful but that doesn’t hold a candle to their outstanding staff. Jessika and Jonathan were above and beyond amazing. We never had to ask for a refill, they were so attentive. They were so warm and welcoming to all of our party.
Answered all of our questions about the menu and drink options without any issue.
The price is amazing at $55 (as of July 2025) per person all you can eat brunch (with upcharge options) $35 add-on drink package.
Yes please!
The presentation and portions were perfect as well. We will be back!
Thank you Jonathan for being so attentive.
