If you’re over in the State Streets area of San Francisco and need a late breakfast around 9–10 AM, this is a fantastic place to stop.
I recently dropped my wife at the airport and swung by afterward — and it was exactly what I was hoping for. Busy enough on a weekday morning to know the food is great, but still running efficiently. That steady crowd is always a good sign.
The food absolutely delivers. Fresh ingredients, generous portions, and everything cooked just right. Their breakfast plates are hearty without feeling heavy, and the flavors are clean and well-balanced. You can tell they take pride in what they serve.
What stood out just as much as the food was the service. Even with a full dining room, the team kept things moving with a positive, welcoming energy. It’s the kind of place where the consistency and hospitality make you understand why people show up for a late weekday breakfast.
If you’re making an airport run from Santa Rosa like I was, this is a perfect stop on the way back. I’ll definitely be coming here again.
The staff was friendly and the food was delicious. We ordered the buttermilk biscuit and ‘The Plow,’ which comes with eggs, lemon ricotta pancakes, choice of meat (I had the pork sausage), and their famous Plow potatoes. The potatoes and pancakes were my highlights. The potatoes had the perfect balance of seasoning and crispiness, while the pancakes were fluffy and flavorful. Next time, I’ll swap the sausage for bacon and try the French toast, which I hear is incredible.
The fried egg sandwich is unreal, and the prosciutto and gruyere toast is next level. Every dish feels thoughtful and perfectly executed. You can taste the quality in everything.
I have been in four out of the last five days and still cannot get enough. The team is warm, welcoming, and makes you want to keep coming back.
Hands down one of the best spots to eat in San Francisco.
The person who looks after the potatoes tho – that man loves his taters.
We tried the Plow, plow potatoes, grilled cheese sandwich, lemon ricotta pancakes and the buttermilk biscuit.
My favorites were the Potatoes (6*), the eggs, and the buttermilk biscuit, oh and the house made sauce on the side! – lip smacking.
The brunch was very tasty and the potatoes were scrumptious. Lemon ricotta pancakes were heavenly.
Somewhat felt rushed around 150p when the service team started clearing plates and items, grabbing our plates to pack it up. One friend literally had just taken a bite from her plate and service staff grabbed her plate to pack it. It might be best to go earlier in the day than near the end of the day.
Worth the wait…
