If you like sweet treats for breakfast this is the place for you. The pancakes were good. Prepare to wait to be seated, we went on a Tuesday morning and had to wait a bit because this is a small restaurant and it seemed like many people sat and chatted even after they were done with their meal so it takes a while for tables to be available. Prices are standard for the area. Our waiter Mark was fantastic, very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu.

First the bad, it was freezing cold in the tiny booths and tables in the back near the women’s room.
I got the eggs Michael’s, poached eggs on top of sausage on an English muffin, served with potato pancakes. The sausage was particularly great. The poached eggs were nice as well.
She got the big apple. It was sweet, but filled with apples and cinnamon…. Really tasty.

First time here and we got there an hour and a half before they closed and they did not rush us to finish and get out. There were 7 of us. Our waitress was great, but I can’t remember her name . I had the bacon pancakes and they were heavenly. No one was disappointed in their food and service was great. I’ll definitely be going back.

I’ve never been here before but we decided to try it. We got up kinda early and made it to the restaurant by 9:30. The wait was expected but not too long, about 10 min it was very busy, but it was a sunday, so it wasn’t a surprise. Our server was very friendly and attentive. I wish I could remember her name she was wonderful. I ordered the junior plate with sausage and hashbrowns, and my girlfriend ordered the same with bacon and scrambled eggs. The food was amazing. Everything tasted fresh, and I’ve never had well-made pancakes, but these were delicious they tasted perfect, and the butter was the best part, and the hashbrowns were hot and crispy. I would definitely come back again and recommend this place to anyone who’s looking for a good breakfast place

The breakfast food is so good it’s hard to make a choice. This week was banana pancakes and a side of bacon. They still have excellent thick bacon. The real plus was a small pitcher of a pineapple base syrup that was so good.

Original House of pancakes have some of the best pancakes around. I go there just for their pancakes and they are consistently delicious. They have many other menu offerings as well. There may be a bit of a wait but I got lucky and it not waited 5 minutes upon my last visit.

The portions are OUT OF CONTROL! I ordered a crepe and the plate arrived with TWO overstuffed, log shaped crepes! And they were clearly made with some kind of industrial batter rather than real crepe batter, with a soft and stretchy texture designed to hold contents in the shape of a log. Very disappointing.
My friend had pancakes, a single order of which would feed a family! ♂️
All around us plates piled like mountains were being gobbled down. I’m an American, but this was simply embarrassing.
But…. Our waitress was amazing! She was friendly, cheerful, funny and quite attentive. The atmosphere is excellent: it was bright, comfortable and not loud, even though the place was completely packed!
So…. go here for the ambiance, the staff, and be prepared to order lightly and share dishes rather than ordering individually. (And don’t expect the crepes to be authentic at all!)
