On my first drive-thru visit, I asked for my food fresh. That should have been simple. Instead, the fries were not hot, dry, unsalted, and not crispy. The chicken sandwich was only warm, dry, and lacked any crisp or moisture. This was not the Chick-fil-A experience people know and expect.
I gave this store a second chance, which turned out to be a mistake. The fries were fresh this time, but still not properly seasoned, and once again the chicken sandwich was warm, not hot despite being told items are made fresh. If food is requested fresh the first time, it should be done then. That alone would save customers the frustration of having to circle back through the line for corrections.
I spoke with someone who said she was a manager or lead, but she was very young, and the interaction made it clear this store is being run by inexperienced leadership. Honestly, the entire store needs to be re-managed. There needs to be older, seasoned leadership in place people with common sense, courtesy, and an understanding of what “fresh food out the window” actually means.
Fast food does not have to be treated like trash. When workers and leadership treat it like trash, that’s exactly what customers receive. Let’s normalize making fast food better, not just rushing food out the window with no pride or care. When a customer asks for fresh food, just make it fresh don’t create unnecessary problems that could have been avoided the first time.
Because of these issues, I had to turn back around with two bags, request a refund, and waste even more time. I also mentioned that a courtesy gift card or some form of compensation should have been offered. A refund alone doesn’t account for the time wasted, the inconvenience, or the frustration especially when the issue could have been prevented.
At this point, I’d rather make my own Chick-fil-A-style sandwich at home, better quality, better care, and honestly, cheaper and free of frustration.
Management needs to look closely at this location, read the reviews, retrain leadership, and fix what’s clearly broken. Until that happens, I cannot recommend this store to anyone.
Two orders of fries were tasty, two were barely luke warm/salted. My spicy sandwich was good and my wives regular sandwich was hot and fresh, but both the nuggets the kids got tasted bad.
If there isn’t traffic, visit the location on Sublett and 287 instead as they have never disappointed me!
