We just arrived into town for our annual beach vacation. Breakfast is not something we usually go out and do but we brought my mom with me this year and she wanted pancakes! Omega pancake house is right around the corner from our condo and they didn’t look super busy yet. When we walked in we were immediately greeted and seated at a 4 top for a party of 2. When our waitress Theresa came to take our drink order, we were also already ready to place our meal order. We ordered a coffee, 2 freshly squeezed orange juice, Blueberry ricotta waffle with bacon, and a side of scrambled eggs and cheese. We also ordered sweet potato pancakes, eggs over medium, and hash brown. The waffle was delicious with fresh blueberries and blueberry syrup. My mom LOVED her sweet potato pancakes with homemade cinnamon butter. The bad… some of the food was obviously precooked early in the morning. I understand that this is a vacation destination so they want to get people in and out fast and remaking popular sides makes it more efficient to turn tables but I’m very disappointed. Almost $7 for a side of bacon that was absolutely inedible. It was as chewy as a dog treat. The scrambled eggs also taste like a hotel continental breakfast… premade and my cheese was just sprinkled on top. The eggs weren’t even hot enough to melt the cheese like they have been sitting prior to turning them into scrambled eggs and cheese. The hash brown again, tasted like it was precooked early that morning and just slapped on the plate when they received our ticket. The only thing hot and fresh were the pancakes and waffle. Everything else was a disappointment. We ordered a Greek burrito to go and my boyfriend said it tasted alright.
Our server was lovely but we probably won’t be back if we are ever in the mood for breakfast again. Hopefully we can find somewhere that provides made to order during the rest of our trip.

Top notch breakfast with an abundance of choices. Our server was among the best in the business, we were sad we didn’t catch her name, but we did get a song! Our only complaint was the lack of a sampler option on the menu … So we made our own.

First time to Seaside/Myrtle Beach and we picked this place just seeing the sign. We took a chance, and it turned out to be a gem. They had awesome and delicious food at reasonable prices. Very busy place though, so it’s best to get there early. Lots of parking surrounded the building. Inside was clean with lots of seating, but very busy. Staff was excellent and checked on us throughout our time there. They had lots of traditional and creative new entrees. Lots of flavor, perfectly cooked and we left there full. Everything we ordered was delicious. If we get to Myrtle Beach in the future, we’ll definitely get back here.

My family loves Omega Pancake House. Why do we love it? Well the food is delicious however our server, Maria S! She is absolutely hands down the best on the Grand Strand. She knows what my family drinks and orders, very rarely do we change our orders. She’s friendly, energetic, easy to have a great conversation with and has a beautiful smile that lights up any room she’ll walk in. Our orders always come out correctly and fast. Throughout our visit she always checks on us and we never have to ask for refills as Maria is on it. It’s very hard to find service like that in this industry so if I can leave an amazing review for anyone and in this case Maria I will always do it! When she’s not there I’m not going to lie my family is sad but hey even superstars need days off! So when you’re wanting to try a new place give Omega a try and ASK FOR MARIA. And if you’re really lucky you’ll get to hear that beautiful voice of hers, you’ll get a good morning, afternoon or whatever. Don’t be shy ask to hear that beautiful voice of hers!! Thank you Maria for always taking care of my family when we come we truly feel that we’re eating at your place because you make us feel like family!!! ❤️❤️❤️

I stand corrected, this is a really great Pancake House! Omega knocked it out of the park this morning! Our server Jenna was so sweet and polite and I didn’t realize their menu was that big either. I ordered The Mexican Omelette w hash browns and it was delicioso! My beautiful Samantha ordered The Pancake Special which was two giant pancakes, two eggs, and bacon. We were definitely impressed and will definitely be back! Thank you Omega Pancake House!!!

Pulled in and the parking lot was packed, but was still able to walk right in and sit down. Prices was about the same as most breakfast places. The coffee was the best coffee I have ever had at a sit down breakfast restaurant! Nothing fancy just good. Food was good and so was the service.

We stopped here one morning to grab a quick bite. Our waitress Gail, was amazing! She’s from our neck of the woods in NC, so we felt right at home with her friendliness. They offered organic orange juice, which was delicious! Very relaxed and family friendly atmosphere, beautiful murals on the walls. Our food was good. I love pancakes, so I ordered the pancake breakfast. I ordered my eggs scrambled with cheese. Unfortunately, the cheese was added to the top, and it didn’t melt. The pancakes were thick, not fluffy, so hard to digest (a little tough). The grits and fruit were very good.

We have eat here for years. Food is good. Service is good however this last visit was very disappointing! We usually enjoy the singing from the waitress Maria. She always made our experience extra special with hearing her sing. She blessed all those around her. But we are told that she could no longer sing in this restaurant. That is awful!! How could you take away something that blessed others! Truly disappointing! Who runs a business and does away with something that makes people happy? Not sure if we will return because if this. Ridiculous!

Great breakfast experience! Arrived on a Monday around 10 with no wait but not many open tables. I had the chicken and apple benedict and that chix sausage was really savory. The salmon on the benedict was a highlight for my wife and the kids chocolate pancakes and oreo pancakes were fluffy and delish. A knock on the benedicts was that egg yolks were not very runny so a little over cooked and hash towns needed a bit more seasoning. Our server was great and I am sorry I don’t recall her name. The mimosas had scrumptious orange juice and a little umbrella. Would def go back.
