My wife and I had a good meal here recently. She had pork chops with two sides and I tried a vegetable plate because I’m trying to lose some weight ( ugh!)
The two chops were big and delicious. My veggie plate was soup or salad and 4 veggies. Only $12 so I thought I’d give it a try. Soup (potato and bacon) was very good. I change one of the sides to a salad for a small up charge. All of them were good. Missed not getting a meat but was worth a try.
Of course, really enjoyed the yummy croissants! Server was friendly and attentive. All in all, it was a good experience and reasonable (<$30). We’ll be back!

Stopped by Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen looking for something solid, and here’s the real rundown:

The Smokehouse barbecue bacon cheeseburger? Total mixed bag. You’re basically required to baptize it in barbecue sauce if you want any actual flavor. On its own, it tastes like it’s still waiting for its personality to show up. Thankfully, the barbecue sauce itself slaps, so that’s the lifeline.

Fries? Surprisingly legit. Crisp, seasoned, actually worth finishing.
And the complimentary croissant—glazed in honey butter—might be unnecessary, but it’s basically dessert disguised as a welcome gift. You won’t complain.

Tried the salmon too. Flavorful, yes… but also wandering dangerously close to Dry City. The baked potato was fine—perfectly serviceable, nothing to write home about. If you’re used to making twice-baked potatoes at home, this will feel like the stripped-down, no-frills cousin.

Overall: a perfectly “okay” dining experience. Not terrible, not memorable, but edible with a few bright spots. If you’re already nearby, go ahead. If you’re craving something life-changing, keep driving.

Nice restaurant that felt a bit upscale with the look and style. A free flakey and butter croissant is given to you while you look over the nice selection of items to choose from. The prices are very reasonable for the portion size. My meal was about $16 but was large enough that I had enough to take half home for another meal.

Gotta love the croissants they bring out, very tasty. Too bad you have to pay for additional ones. My meal was very satisfying, the broccoli was cooked perfectly, the fries were nice and hot, chicken tenders were good, and the ribs…they weren’t falling off the bone but they were still tender and tasted great.

Our visit to Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen was phenomenal from start to finish. We started with the honey butter croissants, which arrived warm, flaky, and perfectly glazed—they are an absolute must-order every time. For the main course, I had the country fried chicken, and the portion size was massive. You can truly taste the “scratch” quality in the gravy and the sides; the broccoli cheese casserole was savory and comforting, reminiscent of a home-cooked Sunday dinner.
The atmosphere was lively yet cozy, and our server was incredibly attentive without being overbearing. It is rare to find such high-quality, fresh ingredients at such an affordable price point. Even though the restaurant was busy, our food arrived quickly and at the perfect temperature. We capped off the night with a signature margarita that was balanced and refreshing. If you want a reliable, delicious meal that feels like a treat without breaking the bank, this is the place to go. Highly recommended!

We stopped by on a Wednesday night around 7:30pm with a party of 4. It was our first time at here and the wait time was less than 5 minutes. Our server, Cinnamon, was an absolute sweetheart! She was very friendly and professional. The space was clean, drinks and food were good and service was wonderful. We would dine here again.

Fish & chips lunch more than I could eat. 3 good size pieces of white fish, a loaded baker and a croissant. All really good. Mick, our server was friendly and attentive.

We went last Saturday. Let me tell you, we were so excited to come here to eat. Kid friendly. Everything was perfect until my girlfriend found a hair in her pot pie. Cooked inside of it. I immediately lost my appetite as the waiter called the manager over to see the hair. He did bring a new one, but all food went to waste when we walked out. We did tip our server still, but 60$ wasted. Nothing was comped. Im not going to post the hair, but it sucked horribly managers name was Chris or will, I believe, went last Saturday.

Great atmosphere. Loved the complimentary croissants. Wisconsin Cheese Bites with ranch were very delicious. Caesar Salad was a good portion with dressing on the side. Lemon chicken barely had any lemon flavor and was not as tender as it could have been. Carrot cake with good. Call me old fashion I prefer waitress tending to me more than console. She didn’t know that we ordered an appetizer until our meal was ready to bring. I am glad my husband chose to try this place.

My family and I stopped by Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen in Peoria, AZ, for dinner before heading to Escapology in Tempe for an escape room adventure, and it was a great way to kick off the evening! The restaurant, located in the Safeway shopping center on 107th Avenue, had a warm and inviting atmosphere that set a relaxed tone for our night out.

We started with the homemade onion rings, which were crispy and perfectly seasoned—definitely a highlight. For entrees, I had the chicken tender platter, which was generously portioned and came with a tasty honey mustard sauce. My partner’s New Orleans pasta was a flavorful mix of shrimp, chicken, and sausage, though it was a touch spicy for their liking. The sides, especially the broccoli cheese casserole, were a standout, creamy and comforting. The service was friendly and attentive, though we noticed a slight delay during the dinner rush, which kept this from being a five-star experience.

Overall, Cheddar’s offered solid, scratch-made comfort food at a price that felt like a steal. It was the perfect fuel for our fun escape room experience at Escapology Tempe later that evening. We’d definitely return for another meal before our next adventure!
