Quesadilla was filled with flavorful pork. The queso dip with chorizo was honestly probably my favorite part of the meal. The tortilla bowl it came in was so flaky and yummy! This place has a wonderful atmosphere that works so well with the food being served there. My better half seemed to enjoy her food and beverage. The server was so nice and had so much attention to detail! He really did a great job helping us pack up our leftovers — thank you so much!

The bartenders are absolute pros and bring the kind of energy that makes you want to stay for “just one more.” Food-wise, I was honestly impressed the street tacos are bomb.com and hit harder than you’d expect from a bar-forward spot. Drinks are strong, the vibe is high, and the whole place is colorful in that “this is where the party starts” kind of way.

Went to Baja Betty’s for a brunch with some friends for my birthday. We all had a great time. They really made me and my party feel very special. It was a large party and they were patience and cooperative with us. The atmosphere was 10/10. Portion size for the drinks and food was great! I would surely visit again the next time I am in San Diego and I recommend you visit as well. Ask for Shannon Moore, she was such a great waitress.

Came here for Taco Tuesday. Food was great, service was really friendly and warm…extremely rare for me to say that. Host and waitress were great! Pricing on Taco Tuesday is reasonable. Definitely recommend the Fish and Short Rib tacos. Chicken was decent too. Both al pastor were meh though. Nice atmosphere. Will return for sure!

While back in SD visiting friends we all met up at Betty’s for happy hour. When we lived here we would frequent Betty’s all the time so we are familiar with their good food and service.
Happy hour was great , we had tacos, fresh quac, and queso dip with chips. As always everything was good and as always the service was good.

A solid place for food and drinks. Nachos were good!!!! I got them with short rib, and they did not disappoint. Margarita was perfect. Not too sweet and syrupy like other places, they don’t cheat you on the alcohol. The atmosphere has a good vibe, and the servers are lively and fun. Never leave with regrets when coming here. Great for large groups, but if you can, make a reservation.

Came here for happy hours. Great vibes, great friendly staff and food was delicious. There were about 25 of us. The staff was absolutely amazing and able to kept us with us. We had many drinks and happy hours food. Like quesadilla guacamole cheese dips. And stuf. Highly recommended

Baja Betty’s is always a fun atmosphere with great food and drinks. They have a happy/papi hour every day from 2 to 6 pm (Mondays, drinks until close) with $6 margaritas and food selections. We’ve had the quesadilla with chicken, tacos, and Mexican pizza with carnitas. All filled a whole dinner plate and were very filling. Taco Tuesdays are great too.
