This was a great place. Cool atmosphere, nice fireplace and loved the interior and all the wood. Food was great and our waitress was great. She didn’t have all the answers about the food we asked but it was all very good. We got the stuffed fried mushrooms which were amazing, the coconut shrimp and salads to start. Very good! We got the buffalo meatloaf, maple salmon, minute chicken and the apple harvest chicken and everything was amazing. Very good taste and flavors on all of our dishes. House made vinegrette dressing was very good as well. I got the egg now bread pudding and I was blown away. It was so good! We also got the carrot cake, apple pie skillet and cream puff. Holy cow it was all great. Nothing disappointed us here and everything was amazing.

For as many times I’ve driven by this place I never stopped in. Till Monday. We picked here based on the recommendation of my gf and man I’m glad she did. We came here after my fathers burial with 16 people. So a rather large party and our waitress Madison did fantastic. There was never a cup empty of water and bread was constantly being filled. The bread was fantastic and fresh baked with seasoning on top. Now for the main course. I got the Amish honey coated fried chicken and boyyyy howdy those Amish know how to build that flavor. Crispy skin and contrasted with that sweetness made for such a perfect bite. Came with green beans which were good but the sweet potato casserole was phenomenal. Perfectly baked and so tender. Overall the entire experience was well worth the stop and the prices were reasonable for what you get. Loved this place

We started with the fried stuffed mushrooms, super crispy, flavorful, and one of the best appetizers I’ve had in a while. I also ordered the French onion soup, which was rich, cheesy, and delicious. For my main dish, the shrimp and grits were packed with flavor and cooked perfectly.
Everything that came out to our table looked and smelled amazing, and everyone loved their meals. I’d definitely come back to try more of the menu. Strong five stars!

10/10 experience! I’ve been eyeing this place because it looks so cute from the outside. Little did I know the inside was even better! It’s such a cozy vibe and there’s so many interesting things to look at. The bread they give you as an “app” is delicious. We both ordered steaks and they were cooked perfectly. The service was great. Food was great. Can’t wait to go back!

This was my third time here and I have to say still worth the splurge. If it weren’t for the economy I’d probably stop in more often as it can be a bit pricey depending on what you get but then again aren’t they all these days? My friend and I were warmly greeted and despite being given a window of 45 minutes to get seated, it was more like 15 or 20 minutes max. Not bad for dinner rush time. The decor here is very fun and welcoming and customer service was great.
My friend and I split a stuffed mushroom appetizer which was as good as we remembered it. I ordered the maple glazed salmon which was cooked perfectly with vegetables and mashed potatoes, all very delicious. My friend had the minute chicken which was very tender and flavorful. I also like the fact that the side salads aren’t just boring leaves of iceberg lettuce with a couple of tomatoes and croutons like other restaurants I’ve been to which makes the price of adding a side salad more tolerable as it is an actual salad here.
Overall a good experience, would recommend.

My palette isn’t refined enough to understand the difference between buffalo meatloaf and regular meatloaf. The meatloaf however was very good, didn’t taste gamey and wasn’t dry. Loved the decor too

Never been here before until today. Took my girlfriend here for valentine’s day, but a day late. First off I would say our waitress,was amazing. Making sure everything was good. The food, ( Sorloin steak ) that we got was really good, nice size & thick, had that good old grilled wood favorite. Today I would give a 9.9 rating. Little pricey, But you want the food that you are desiring, you get it here.

We just had the most fabulous Christmas dinner at Big Bear Lodge. My wife Nita and I have always dreamed of eating here and the food did not disappoint. While Nita enjoyed the Alaska king salmon, with butter and wine sause, broccoli and mashed potatoes. Our waitress Diane was terrific and even recommended their delicious horseradish sauce which hit it out of the park. This restaurant has such an authentic rustic atmosphere with the smell of several wood fireplaces burning. A wonderful place to take your whole family for Christmas or NewYears. Thank you Dennis and Mary we were treated like royalty.

I highly recommend going during the Christmas season. It’s beautifully decorated and there’s a nice variety of 17 oz thermocup alcoholic beverages. My favorite is the Cozy Cup.
