I ordered a Bacon Qtr Cheese Burger Combo. Only 2 cars in front of me,…It took almost 20 minutes in line. Drive through person just said what I had to pay and took card nothing else. The next window for food just handed me the bag without saying ANYTHING and closed window, . The ticket on box of burger even showed what it was so I assumed it was right.. Took food home (5 minutes down road), the burger is not only cold but burnt and no bacon at all. Even the bread is hard. Im so mad and too tired to go back out to get anything. DO BETTER!!!

Rude as hell and burgers have so much salt they’re hard to eat! Asked for simple condiments while girl with the braids was handing me my order. Got home. Not a single condiment whatsoever in the bag. Talk about rude. Smh. Employ better quality folks McDonald’s! This was not my first bad experience. But, it is my last. I will not go back to this subpar location again!

Subject: Formal Complaint About Poor Service and Unprofessional Behavior – 10/09/2025 at 7:16 PM

I would like to file a formal complaint regarding the entire staff working the evening shift on October 9, 2025, at 7:16 PM, including the shift manager or supervisor on duty.

The service I received was completely unacceptable. The staff made an error when taking my order, charged me incorrectly multiple times, and then argued with me instead of fixing their mistake. When a customer clearly explains their order, it is the responsibility of the team to listen carefully and ensure accuracy — not to blame the customer afterward.

If a mistake is made, the proper response is simple: remake the order correctly, apologize sincerely, and hand the customer their food. That is the standard of professionalism and service expected from anyone representing McDonald’s.

Unfortunately, what I experienced was the opposite. The shift manager was dismissive, argumentative, and extremely unprofessional. I was told I “didn’t know how to order” and that McDonald’s has “never had a Spicy McChicken,” even though I clearly explained what I wanted and have ordered it many times before. That level of rudeness and misinformation is unacceptable.

My complaint is not only about the wrong order and overcharging, but also about how poorly the situation was handled. Good customer service means treating customers with respect, taking accountability for mistakes, and resolving issues promptly — not arguing or making excuses.

I was charged for items I did not order, including a Spicy McCrispy for $4.79. When I asked for it to be voided, I was met with resistance and attitude instead of an apology. I had to ask for a full refund and the order to be voided, but instead of processing an instant void (which I know is possible), they issued it as a refund, forcing me to wait 3–7 business days for my money.

• My online order showing that the correct total should have been nearly half of what I was charged in-store

This entire experience was extremely disappointing. I expect a formal follow-up from McDonald’s Corporate. I am also submitting this complaint to the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and the Attorney General’s office, as I believe customers deserve honesty, respect, and fair treatment.

I sincerely hope this feedback is taken seriously and that proper action is taken to retrain or review the staff and management involved.

got breakfast around 7:20 and they were so nice! i made a mobile order and went through the drive thru. my order was hot and fresh, and it was correct. will definitely come back for breakfast ☺️

I ordered a big Mac meal with fries and a double cheeseburger. What I got when I got home was a fish sandwich and a cheeseburger. The Problem is, they were not busy.They were only two of us in different lines that drive through! No excuse for this type of business

Terrible customer service through drive-thru. Either they weren’t caring enough to retain the order i was giving (from the deep sigh of me taking up their time??? Idk) , were too busy (fully staffed) , or simply slow-witted and angry at me huffing and puffong for it because I could tell she wasn’t comprehending my order whether she meant to for whatever reason or not and asked her to read it back to me. So, after THREE repeated orders – * – clear and concise – * – another employee hopped on the headset and in lightning speed ran through my exact order with pin point accuracy. Got to window, original employee didn’t smile, show eye contact, say total. Second window, window opened only halfway with bag in hand “have a good night” rushing to get us out of there. Slowed her down by responding fast enough to not get window shut on us for a straw, bbq, extra napkins. No straw. Then this: (see photos) ordered a #7 – 2 cheeseburgers a la carte. One with no mustard add mayo. One how it comes. Check photos.

*Positives:*
•messed up and threw in an extra double cheeseburger on accident.
•suoerviser or manager on duty saw me coming in to ask for a remake and knew my order assuming I was in there because she heard the painful drive-thru order and it was wrong (correct, girl,)
•made it immediately, let me keep other burgers,

She was great, and swift employee. Original order taker was having a bad day or was not good. Idk.

Idk, it’s McDonald’s at the end of the day.

Came here from out of town after a wedding party. We just wanted something quick before we went back to the hotel. Drive through was supposed to close at 12. We came by at 1120 and they wouldn’t serve us at all at the drive through. Absolute terrible service and our McDonald’s back home would’ve never done that. Not surprised it has such low reviews for service.

I had ordered a McDouble and had asked for no pickles and they did just that but they put mayonnaise instead of ketchup. Which was just shocking and nasty.

I appreciate the time they spent putting together my order and everything but i was just grossed out and unhappy with my order.

Today is the second time this week that this Little River, SC McD’s location did NOT place ANY beef patties in EITHER of our two Big Macs ordered via Uber Eats! What happened to the jingle “TWO ALL BEEF PATTIES , special sauce… etc. Ronald, this store of yours is forcing us to redirect and be ordering our meals from the Colonel!
